"Do you want me to come with you?"

"No, I think I'll be alright. I'll be back soon, do either of you need anything?"

"No, we're fine here. Are you sure you don't want me to go with you?"

"I'm sure. They're all busy right now so they shouldn't bother me." I got up and went over to the door "I'll be back soon." I promised and left.

I sighed. "She's so stubborn. I hope she'll be alright," I said to Leyla then fixed us plates, holding Emily while she ate.

"Do you think she really went to her cabin?"

"Nope."

"What are we going to do? I've never seen her so upset she's always so quite."

I sighed. "I know. I'm going to talk to Rhett. He needs to leave her the hell alone. It pisses me off that he's making her so uncomfortable and Carlisle could give a shit less."

"He could give a shit less about a lot of things these days. I don't feel safe here anymore."

"I know you haven't. I've been meaning to talk to you about that. What do you think about leaving and going to the other camp? I don't want Bella coming out here to see Emily anyway, I'm afraid something's going to happen to her. If we lived over there, she could see Emily whenever she wanted and it'd be safer. Carlisle's already pissed that we adopted her, because her birth mom is from the other camp. He's losing his sanity, that one." 

"Absolutely, when can we leave?" 

"We should go now. Cody said the two dickheads are occupied and Carlisle always has dinner at the same time. Let's get some things packed."

"Alright. We'll just take what we need anything else can be replaced." I moved from the table and started to gather Emily's things.

"We don't have much anyway," I said and went to pack mine and her things.

"Once Cody gets back we'll take her with us."

"My thoughts exactly. It doesn't sound like she's safe here."

"What about Sheridan and Gabi?"

"I'll come back for them after I get you, Emily, and Cody safe at the other camp." 

"Do you think they'll be accepting of us?"

"I really hope so. If not, we'll figure something out. We're not coming back here." 

"I love you, Darnell."

"I love you too baby," I said and kissed her. 

We finished gathering our things and we were waiting for Cody to return when we heard a pop. "Was that a gun shot?"

"That's what it sounded like. Stay here and lock the door behind me," I said and left, heading into the woods.
