I ran into Abi in the woods and pulled her close as the storm swirled around us. We made it to my place and I bolted the door closed. I turned and she was in front if the fire. " Looks like we are gonna be stuck here."

"Yeah, it seems that way." I said, wrapping my arms around myself "Thanks for getting me out of the storm."

I grabbed her my jacket and handed it to her. " I'll make some hot tea if you want. I can make it sweet and everything." I said knowing I sounded gay as hell.

I actually smiled at that "Sweet is good, I'll take some."

I went to the kitchenette, and started making it. "So what was all that about, yanno back in your camp, if you don't mind me asking."

"It's so complicated." I said, and followed him into the kitchenette "Before we came here Cameron was in Peacekeeper training, he didn't realize it but him and the other trainees were being drugged." I sighed "It was making them go crazy, they were doing and saying a lot off bad things they wouldn't have normally done. Cameron did and said things that he doesn't even remember doing but Carter and my brother can't move past it even though I did."

I kept on what I was doing and replied, "Did he hurt you personally, or them. It harder when it's personal."

"He said things he didn't mean to them but yeah, he hit me and he almost raped me but Caleb and Carter came in and stopped him."

I turned quickly, "Yeah, see that's hard to let go of. I mean even knowing the situation, I'd wanna kill him too. It's just gonna take time. That's all. You forgave him so that's the first step in the right direction."

"My brother hates me for forgiving him though, he doesn't want anything to do with me."

"How old are you?" I asked, handing her the tea.

I sipped the tea "Mmm. It's good, thanks." I smiled "I'm 17, you?"

"Nineteen, well tomorrow ill be nineteen." I smiled. "Well if you were grown enough to move our on your own, then your old enough to make your own choices. Just my opinion. Do you love this guy, what's his name?"

"Looks like you'll be partying with me tomorrow then." I winked "I love him, his name is Cameron."

"Well then i take his side. I mean he must be a good guy, he's got an awesome girlfriend it seems."

"Thanks, I keep telling myself that I'm pretty great." I teased and smiled some "Really, thank you. It's been a long time since I actually laughed. I've just been worried about Cam and stuff."

"Well hopefully his brother and yours will come around soon. Family is important you know." I said and sat down by her. "So, tell me Bout you. I mean we are stuck here, might as well get acquainted."

"Very good point." I said and sipped my tea again "My whole name is Abigail and I'm originally from District 1, I was in training by the age of five...my favorites are whips and axes."

I have a small smirk, "well there's a mental image for ya." I teased and saw her blush. "Sorry, continue."

I laughed a little "That's...about it really."

"So a hot axe wielding, whip carrying bad ass. Man, I may fall in love now, be careful." I laughed.

"You be careful, I might be armed and dangerous." I smiled.

" I will watch my step. You are pretty cool for a tribute."

"Thanks." I smiled.
