Molly Deveraux

I nodded. "Alright. If you say so." 

"He isn't as bad as he seems."

"To a man that gets too close to his female? That's just asking for a death sentence sweetheart." 

"He knows we're friends, I've already talked to him about that. As long as you aren't Kent or one of the other soldiers I do believe you're safe."

"Being friends and spending the night are two different things though. Not that I'm turning you down, I assure you." 

"I've spent the night with you before."

"Yes, but does he know that?" 

"He does. He caught me coming out of your room."

"And I'm not dead yet? He must secretly like me." 

I couldn't help but laugh "He just might but don't tell him I told you."

"Not a word, my lips are sealed." 

"Let's get some rest then."

I smiled a little. "Sounds good to me. I will try anyway," I said and got ready and got into bed.

I turned down the lights and got into bed "Goodnight, Tyrion."

"Good night Molly," I said and fell quickly asleep, this whole day exhausting as hell.

We got back to the Capitol and I took my new girls to their rooms and allowed them time to clean up. Ever since all hell had broken loose I couldn't make my hands to stop shaking. I was completely frazzled about everything. Damien, Obedia, the prisoners, Lydia, Joy Anna, and the list was ongoing at this point. I sat down on the side of my bed and took a deep breath, trying to calm myself.

I cleaned up and was wandering the halls, trying not to think about things, when I passed Molly's room. I hesitated for a few minutes then knocked quietly on the door. 

I rose from the bed and answered the door. "Raine. Are you alright? Please come in."

"I'm just... wandering. I don't know know what I'm doing here. Thank you," I said and came in slowly. 

"Can I get you anything?" I asked as I shut the door.



I shook my head, wrapping my arms around myself. "Why are we here?" I asked quietly after a minute. "And where's my family? No one's told me anything." 

"I wish I could answer your first question but I don't really know either. Your mother was married to a soldier but he's a good man. They all are, believe it or not. Your sister will be allowed to stay with her and your brother...he's in the prison as far as I know."

"How can he just... marry my mom off to some random guy? She's not property. And... what's gonna happen to him? My brother? Is he gonna stay in prison?"

Raine

"I'm not sure what they have planned for your brother. I'm sorry...I really am."

"It's not your fault. I just... thought I'd ask. Thank you. I hope I'm not bothering you or anything."

"No of course not. I'm glad you stopped by actually."

Molly

"You are?"

Raine

"It's been a long night. I could use some good comany," I said and forced a smile. "You girls are probably hungry. I should go to the kitchen and gdt you all some dinner."

Molly

"Do you want any help?"

Raine
