Liam & Carmen

I was getting out of the shower when my phone went off. I talked to my boss then hung up, put a towel around my waist, then went to Carmen's room and knocked.

I got up from the bed and opened to door. After I realized he was in nothing but a towel I gave him a dirty a look "Surely you have pants laying around somewhere, right?"

"Yes, but your room is on the way to my room and I have to hurry. Something's going down at the prison and they need everyone there. Stay inside and keep the door locked. I'll be back as soon as I can."

"Stay inside? No way. My brother is in the prison."

"I'm well aware. Stay inside and keep the door locked. I don't know what's going on, but it's not good."

"Fine. See you later." I went back in my room ans closed the door behind me.

I sighed and shook my head. This marriage was just going fucking wonderfully. I went to get ready, then grabbed my gear and headed out.

I watched the asshole leave from my bedroom window. As soon as he was gone, I got a few things together and left through the back door.

I had watched and cried while the EMT's were working on Megan. Oh my god, she'd almost died. Her life was still in danger. I ran back inside and called Liam. "Please answer. Please."

I managed to get away for a minute when Carmen called me. "Baby, how are you, are you okay?" I yelled into the phone over the commotion.

"I'm fine but where in the fuck is your stupid brother!?" I was yelling loud enough so he could actually hear me. "I've been trying to call him. Megan is hurt. Bad. They just took her away in an ambulance and even had to bring her back once. It was horrible Liam. He needs to be with her."

"Fuck." I sighed. "I'll find him. Where are they taking her?"

"I assume to the nearest medical center. I'll catch up to the ambulance."

"Okay. I'll be there as soon as I can."

"Be careful. I'll see you there."

"I will. You too," I said and hung up then called my brother. It rang and rang then went to voicemail. "Listen you dick, your wife is on the edge of death. You need to get your head out of your ass and go to her, she needs you," I said and hung up.
