Travis & Ezra

  

I woke in the morning and had to rush to the bathroom, barely making it before I threw up what little was in my stomach. Then came the dry heaves. Just fucking lovely.

Ezra

I had come out of my bedroom and I could hear Ezra all the way out in the hall. I went downstairs and found her some ginger ale and crackers. She was coming out of her room as I was going back up "You can stay in bed if you want. I was bringing up a few things that will hopefully settle your stomach a little."

"Thank you," I said softly, leaning against the wall. I felt a little faint. "I didn't... make it this far... in my last pregnancy. I didn't... know it was... this bad. I mean... I remember when my mom was pregnant with Jocelyn but... I didn't know I'd feel this bad."

"You're welcome. It's no problem if you'd rather just go back to bed for the day or whenever you start feeling better. Maybe it'll pass in a few hours or so."

I nodded a little. "Okay. I'm sure I'll feel better in a little while. I'm sorry. I know you said you wanted to take me to get some things." 

"It's alright, I'll take you when you start feeling better."

"Thank you. And thanks for these," I said, taking the drink and crackers from him.

"You're welcome. Need anything else? You can give me your sizes if you want and I'll grab a few things when I'm coming home today."

"No, I don't need anything else," I said and gave him my sizes. "Thanks again. I hope these help," I said and went back to lay down.

"So do I. If not we'll try something else." I said, watching as she went back into the bedroom.

"Thanks," I said again as I laid down. 

Ezra

"You're welcome. I'll see you later."

"Bye Travis," I said, and nibbled on the crackers, hoping they would help.

Ezra

After leaving Abigail's I decided to drop by and check in what that red headed bitch that drove Caleb away from me. I checked the property first and it looked like her new husband was out and about already. Taking my lock pick from my pocket I popped the front door open and let myself in.

I was feeling a little bit better and was heading downstairs for some more ginger ale and crackers when I heard the door. Thinking it was Travis, I continued down, freezing when I saw him. "What... what are you doing here?" I said quietly, my voice shaking, my hand going to my stomach involuntarily.

"I'm here to see you, of course. What's the matter? Feeling a little ill this morning?" I asked her. I knew what morning sickness looked like, I'd been through it twice with my wife.

"Only because I have to look at your face. You need to leave. Now." Oh god I hoped Travis got home soon.

"You're knocked up, aren't you? Don't fucking lie to me or I'll see you get whipped again...among other things."

I started to shake but I kept my expression controlled. My fear was so overwhelming but I had to stay calm. "That's none of your god damned business. I'm not with your son anymore, obviously, so what goes on with me is none of your concern. I would strongly advise you leaving before my husband gets home.  He won't like you being here, I can promise you that." 

I had watched Amos go into my house I was coming down the street. The sick fuck had a lot of nerve, breaking into my house but he had a rude awakening coming. Neither him or Ezra knew I was there but I was listening. I pulled my gun from my jacket and stood behind Amos, pulling the hammer back. "I should blow your fucking head off right now."


I started to chuckle and smirked at Ezra. "If you have the nerve, please do."

I sunk down to my knees, my relief that Travis was here enough to make my knees go weak. "I would be more than happy to see that, I assure you," I said quietly, my voice steady but my body still shaking hard. My stomach started to churn again and I prayed I could keep everything down. 

"Oh, I've got it. Trust me. You have no power in Kampfer anymore Mr. Jaxon, you're a fucking nobody." I said and pressed the gun against his skull "I'll let her decide your fate." I told him "Should I kill him or just beat the shit out of him. You choose, Ezra." 

"I think just beat him. Shooting him in here would just be too messy. I don't want the maids to have to clean that up." 

"Fair enough. Call the authorities and report the break in, he'll be outside waiting for pick up." I grabbed him by the shirt collar with my free hand and practically drug him out of my house and into the street. I whirled him around to face me and hit him across the face with my gun. After he fell to the ground I put it back in it's holster and continued to beat the ever living shit out of him.
