| I got up in the morning and went to shower, feeling like I was in a daze. It felt so strange to be back her, especially like this. I wanted to know what was going to happen to Rafe and Heath, but I didn't think asking would do me any good. I doubt anyone would tell me anything, if anyone even knew.  | |

| I didn't really expect Miranda to join me this morning considering the circumstances. After breakfast was finished I carried a tray up to her room. It sounded like she was still in the shower so I left the meal on her bedside table.  | |

| I finished in the shower and dried and dressed before going back in my room. The tray of food took me by surprise. I sat down and slowly starting eating, not able to taste any of it, but knowing I needed to eat. I finished and carried my tray downstairs, finding him in the dining room. "Thank you for the food," I said quietly. | |
