Philippe & Rosalie

I woke the next morning and the sun was shining through the windows. I got out of bed and pulled the curtains open so the natural light would fill the room.

I had finished working out and was heading into the shower and smield when I heard her moving around in her room. She was exquisite, but she'd been so nervous around me last night. I hope she warmed up to me soon.

I heard someone out in the hallway and opened my door a little. When I seen who it was though, I opened it a little more. "Morning."

I smiled at her. "Good morning sweetheart. How are you feeling?" 

"I'm feeling better, thank you for asking."

"You're welcome. And I'm glad. Breakfast should be ready downstairs, if you're hungry. I'll be down after I shower." 

He was so...gloriously sweaty. "Alright, I'll meet you down there soon."

"Okay," I said and smiled at her. "See you downstairs," I said then headed into the shower.

I went downstairs and started to help in the kitchen. I didn't want to just sit around and twiddle my thumbs waiting when I could be doing something productive. A little while later he came into the kitchen, he smelled to fresh and clean from his shower. "You can go sit if you'd like. I thought I'd help Brenda with breakfast and then bring it out to you."

I smiled at her. She was even more beautiful, if that were possible, with her cheeks flushed from the heat of the stove. "Alright. I'll do that then," I said and went to sit in the dining room.

When everything was finished I made us both a plate and went to join him "Here you go." I smiled and set the plate down in front of him.

I smiled at her. "Thank you. Everything smells wonderful. Will you be joining me?" I asked, nodding at the other plate in her hand.

"I will." I said and sat down across from him.

"I'm glad. It's lonely eating alone all the time."

"Pepper and I were always pretty busy so until today it's been a long time since I cooked anything."

"I'm sure it's fine." I smiled at her and took a bite. "Actually, it's delicious. Where did you learn to cook like this?" I asked, eating more.

"My mother was an amazing cook."

"Well she taught you well." Her file had said both her parents were deceased but it hadn't listed cause of death and I thought it would be rude to ask. "What's your favorite thing to cook?" 

"Blueberry pancakes." I smiled.

I smiled. "Really? Those were my favorite breakfast growing up. I haven't had them in forever."

"I'll make them for you as soon as I find some blueberries."

"I would love that. we can go to the store anytime you'd like. We need to get you some things anyway." 

"Right, I guess I can't keep running around in one outfit."

I smiled. "Nope. I can't have that. I plan to spoil you rotten."
