Jordan & Grace

Oh, god. I really hope those boys didn't do something stupid. "Oh, okay. Well, I'll get my phone incase you...call or something."

"I'll let you know when I'm on my home," I said then went to get dressed and headed out.

Jordan

I could have sworn I heard Quin and Aurora screaming at each other earlier, but I was too nervous to go check it out. I heard Jordan pull in and then the front door opened and closed. I got out of bed and into the hall "Jordan?"

"Yeah, it's me," I called as I set my gear down and went to meet her in the living room.

I went down the stairs to meet him "Oh, my god. What happened?" I asked when I seen his face.

"An unruly prisoner by the name of Tyler Corrigan. You would've been proud. Handcuffed and he still managed to break my nose and make a good go of me never having children," I said, trying and failing to keep the sarcasm out of my tone.

"Seriously? You really think I'd want someone to hurt you? Do I seem like that type of person?"

I sighed. "I'm sorry. I'm just... tense I guess. Some of hte prisoners escaped. The entire city is going on lock down until further notice. Every nook and cranny of Kampfer is going to be searched too.  Did you see anyone?"

I thought about the voices I had heard but there was no way I'd ever say anything to anyone. "No, I haven't seen anyone. Stay here, I'll go get something to clean you up with." I told him and went into the bathroom, wetting a wash cloth so I could get the blood off of his face.

"Thanks," I said when she came back in. "Were you okay while I was gone?" 

I started to gently clean the blood from his face "I was fine. Just worried about everyone."

I nodded. "Understandable. We're all going to be on extra patrols too until things get back under control, so I'll be gone some nights. I don't have my patrolling schedule yet. Will you be okay while I'm gone?"

"I'll be fine, don't worry about me too much."

I put my hand gently over hers, stopping her from cleaning my face for a moment. "You're my wife. Of course I'm going to worry about you." 

I didn't say anything for a moment, just stared at him. "I worry about you too."

I smiled and gave her hand a squeeze. "That makes me happy. I'll be fine though, I promise." 

I smiled back at him "I'm sure you will be." I said and then asked "So....Tyler kicked you...where it really hurts?"

"Yup. I caught him trying to eacape and got him handcuffed. Whrn I turned him around and we realized who each other was, he head butted me and broke my nose, then kicked me in the nuts. He took off again and one of the other soldiers had to taser him to get him back to his cell."

Jordan

I sighed and shook my head a little. "Sounds like everyone had a pleasant evening." I said, sarcastically.

"Yeah, really pleasant," I said and sighed. "Are you hungry?"

Jordan

"Sure, are you? I can cook something if you'd like. That was one of the guidelines, right?"

"You can if you want, but you don't have to. Cooking actually helps me relax when I'm stressed out." Among other things, but I wasn't going to voice that.

Jordan

"If that's what you would like to do, I won't stop you."

"Is there anything in particular you'd like?"

Jordan

"I'm not picky. Atleast let me help you cook though. I mean...you are injured after all."
