Bastian Soams

"Yeah, well savor it. Its the last baby. Come on lets go find them." i said and took her hand , leading her out.

We had been getting to know the others, as we called them, and we were all pretty much getting along. I knew the one guy had the hots for Lea and I was keeping an eye on him, making sure he knew I would beat his ass. I saw Lea with Megan and walked over when Megan left. "Hey, good morning."

I smiled and hugged him "Good morning, babe. Sleep well?" I asked.

"Yeah. I like having my own place. Brett is cool but hes seeing that chick and all now so..." i laughed a little.

"Yeah, I get it." I laughed too "Have you eaten yet?"

"Nope, was kinda wanting to eat with you. Yanno, my girlfriend and all." i said and picked her up and kissed her, holding her tight to me.

I wrapped my arms around him and returned his kiss deeply "Mmm. I'm enjoying this." I smirked.

I set her down and then leaned to whisper in her ear. "You drive me crazy, you know that woman?"

"Do I?" I asked innocently "Maybe I should take care of that after breakfast."

"Oh i think i would really like that." i said and kissed her again.

I took his hand, going to mess hall when Jayson came up.

I raised my hand in a wave, trying not to stare too openly at Lea. "Good morning."

I smiled "Morning Jayson, how are you?"

"Doing good, you?"

"Good. Grabbing some breakfast at the Mess Hall, are you hungry?"

"Yeah, that's where I was headed actually. Mind if I join you guys?"

"Sure, why not, more the merrier." i said, grabbing Lea's hand.

I could tell by Bastian's tone that he didn't like this but I didn't say anything as we walked to Mess Hall.

"So how do you like it here so far?"

"It's a lot better. Peaceful, and quiet."

"Or was." i muttered.

I held back a chuckle and looked at Bastian. "I'm sorry, is my friendly conversation bothering you?"

"Nope, conversation is cool. Long as it stays just that." i said as i saw the two girls rushing towards peppers. "Wonder what thats about."

"Did I make any indication that I was going to do more than talk?" I asked as I watched Feeny and Gen bang on the door. "What the hell?"

I squeezed Bastian's hand a little "It's alright, Bastian. He was just talking to me."
