In Passing

We found the girl and kept out of sight as we watched her. She was healthy and clean, and she had weapons. This wasn't good...

I went to the mess hall and hid dinner then decided to go for a walk. I walked out into the woods, I heard a sound and looked around "Hi, Allegra." I smiled as I approached her.

"Hey, whatcha doin out here?"

"Just walking around, getting some air. It's nice out here isn't it?"

"Yeah. So, how are you feeling. I never did say thanks for helping to get my brother home too."

"I'm feeling pretty good, and you're welcome. We got each other home, Ezra too. Although I did have an upper hand when I surprised everyone."

" I knew you werent dead. God i wish i could have seen Linna's smug face when you popped back up."

I saw his face change when the other girl came and i almost laughed. "OOh, look at your face."i said, nudging Cody.

"I don't know what you're talking about," I said, not taking my eyes off the girl, she was gorgeous.

"His face says it all, doesn't it?"

I laughed "It was priceless, I'm sure." I said when I heard footsteps "Hi Lea."

"Yeah says....DUH!!!"i said and backed up, landing against Cody, "Umm, god sorry."

"Guys shut up before they hear you," I hissed and turned to stare back at the girls. They were getting closer to us.

"Hey Lea, what are you doing out here,i thought you were with Bastian?"

"Hey, I'm just checking things out before meeting him." I told them.


"That's fine, I have to get going anyway. See you too around." I told them and left.


I raised an eyebrow "Did you hear anything?" I asked Allegra.

"I did earlier too." i said nodding. I grabbed my knife from my boot and looked around. "Who the hell would be out here?"



I looked at Diego and mouthed Shit

I stood up just a little, staying hidden, and pulled my knife out of the back of my belt. Females or not, if they attacked I wasn't going to be helpless.

The last one started walking back towards us and i took Codys hand. "If i say run, i whispered, you run, okay." i said and squeezed her hand.

I nodded "Okay." I whispered.


I took a few more steps and spotted them "Allegra, run!" I yelled.

I was up and on her in a flash, my hand over her mouth while diego gave chase after the other.

I saw the guy grab Lea and ran towards them. Another came out of the trees and as he grabbed me i stabbed him hard in the thigh.

I bit his hand and fought against him, and his grip tightened. I was trying to scream but couldn't.

I held her nose and mouth til she passed out and looked at Cody, who was shaking. "Its okay, damnit..." i said and sighed, watching Diego

"Fuck!" I yelled as I fell to the ground. I grabbed her ankle, twisting it as I pulled her down with me. I wrapped my arm around her and put my knife to her throat. "You're gonna regret that. Cody go get help!" I hollared.
