We got into my cabin and I pulled out blankets then started to make us something warm to drink. "So... you know that women then huh? That came into camp?"

I nodded, "yeah. I know her real well. I loathe her. We all do."

"So I've heard. Sounds like she's done some pretty bad stuff," I said and handed him his tea. "Sorry, this is the best that I've got. It's warm though, and I have stuff to sweeten it more if you don't like it."

I took a sip and smiled " No it's perfect. Thanks. Do you have wood to keep this fire going. It's gonna get pretty cold in here in just a few hours."

"Yeah I have some, hang on," I said and set my tea down. I went to get a few logs and turned my back to him, bending over as I got the fire going better.

I had to look, well not had to, but couldn't help it. Damn she was built perfect. Long legs and small waist....... I groaned and looked into my tea and said "I coulda gotten that."

I smirked then got up slowly and turned, smiling at him. "That's alright, I didn't mind. Do you need more tea?"

"No. Sit down and relax, are you nervous?"

"Nervous about what?" I asked, getting my tea off the counter and sitting near him on the couch.

"I dunno, that your big ass boyfriend may get pissed. Where's Jax at anyways?"

"I... actually have no idea where he is. Probably at his house. And he's not my boyfriend. I think he likes me but..." I shrugged. "I dunno. Anyway I'm single. Although, I know you are not, so I'll behave," I said and winked at him.

I cleared my throat, " Yeah Lea. After today who knows. She was all pissy about me hanging with you, yet boy wonder swoops in and she's all google eyed."

"I don't know what that was about, but if I was with you, I sure as hell wouldn't be getting googly eyed over anyone else. You're more than enough to look at," I said and blushed.

I was taken off guard with her statement and then smiled. "Yeah well. You are pretty easy to look at yourself."

I smiled and blushed a little harder. "Thank you. You... you really think so?"

I nodded, "please. You can't tell me you don't know how beautiful you are."

"It's not like I have a mirror to look into. Plus, not a lot of guys around here are interested in me. Most everyone is taken. Kinda makes a girl feel left out sometimes," I said, blushing a bit at the look in his eyes.

"You don't have a mirror, well trust me Gen, you are really gorgeous. Guys back home would be falling over themselves."

I blushed, if possible, harder. "You're just saying that, but thank you. I'm um... I'm gonna get... more tea," I said and stood up, immediately tripping over myself and landing in his lap. "Oh shit I'm sorry."

She smelled like honeysuckle and when she stood up I realized I didn't want her to. "It's ok, not everyday a female lands in your lap."

"Completely by accident, but I can't say I minded." I smiled, blushing still, and turned to go into the kitchen, refilling my tea. "So... how pissed is your girlfriend going to be when she finds out you stayed with me?" I asked as I came back in and sat down.

I shook my head, "Lea is not like that. She's been my friend forever and we've just started seriously dating. I think she'll just be happy I'm ok. I know she is. She's very smart."

"Well good. I just asked because she... well seemed pretty pissed earlier that I was even near you. I didn't know that we were doing anything wrong."

"Yeah, someone told her we were holding hands. Assholes need to gets grip. I took your hand to help you. It's whatever."
