"You're welcome. You don't have to apologize for what you were wearing Lydia, this is your room, you can wear whatever you want," I said, secretly hoping she'd wear that around me again.

"But I don't want to make you uncomfortable. We've just recently started getting along better and I don't want to mess that up or make things awkward."

"Trust me. Uncomfortable is... the last thing you made me," I said and took a bite before I said something else stupid.

"Yeah...I seen." I said and took a bite of my food. "I don't think I ever really apologized for lying to you in the beginning. So, I'm sorry. Fighting was my stress reliever and I didn't want anyone to know who I really was."

I think I might have actually blushed. "Yeah... sorry about that. I don't really have control over... that," I said and took another bite of food. "No worries. I understand. Can't say I blame you really."

"I guess now you have a better understanding as to why I lied in the first place. But, I won't lie to you again. I promise."

"I do. But thank you. I appreciate that. I don't like to be lied to, even though I do understand why you did."

"I know, I wouldn't like it either."

"Good thing I won't ever lie to you huh. I think I'm a little too honest actually," I said and chuckled a bit.

I smiled "Maybe...but I like it."

I couldn't help but smirk a little. "Oh really?"

"Yeah. I've never been called hot before but I can't say I didn't enjoy it."

"You have to be shitting me. No one's ever called you that before? I was just being honest, you are."

"I think most of the males I've been around are too afraid of my Father to say such things."

I nodded. "Understandable. Trust me, if he was anywhere near here I wouldn't have let that come out of my mouth."

"He's going to be gone for awhile." I said and then wondered why I felt the need to point that out.

I looked over at her. "Is he? Like... awhile, awhile?"

I nodded "He is. On top of finding Joy Anna he wants to locate the others as well and bring them back. I imagine that may take a few weeks."

I nodded slowly. "I see. Well that could be interesting. I get to see what you're like when you're not under your dad's thumb," I teased.

"Would you like to...stay over?"

I looked at her in surprise for a minute. "Stay... over... as in...?"

"Here. In my room." I said and started to get a little nervous. I shouldn't have asked that. It came out before I could stop myself though.

I nodded. "Yeah. Yeah I would like to."

"Really?"

"Hell yes."
