"Baby, do me a favor and kill one of these mongrels." I was so angry, I was shaking.


I stepped over to face the blonde headed guy and swung my axes around. "Cute knives."

"With pleasure," I said as Milo came up beside me. I threw one of my blades, landing it in his thigh and grabbed him by the front of the shirt, slamming him up against the opposite wall to get him out of the way. I was going to take him apart piece by piece, but we needed to get our people out of here. 



"Cute ax. Sure you know how to use that sweetheart?" I said with a smirk, dodging when she swung it at me.

"I do. Very well, actually." I swung lower, towards his leg with my left. He fell for my fake out and I brought up my right, slicing deep into his arm as he screamed and dropped one of his knives. "It looks like you need a band aid."

I started hitting the guy all over his body as hard as I could, letting out all of my frustration. Ty and I were going to beat this bastard to death.

"Don't kill him too quick, son. We've got to make sure he suffers, nice and long," I said, throwing him to the ground and stomping hard on his stomach. I flipped him over and pulled his arms behind his back, then searched through his pockets until I found a key. I tossed it to Vicky then held the bastard back again, letting Milo have his way with him. 



I jerked my arm out of the ax, making blood splatter everywhere. It was useless now but I could still fight with my left. "Is that the best you've got," I said, picking up my knife again off the ground.



"Come on," I said to Aurora and went over to Chase, kneeling down beside him. "How bad are you hurt man?" I asked, helping him sit up.

I helped V unlock the cuffs on Caitlin and I started getting the chains off of everyone else. Caleb could barely hold his head up "You better not die. Do you hear me? You better not fucking die."


"Oh my god, Caitlin." I wrapped my arms around her as she all but slumped over after I released the restraints holding her in place.


"I don't know. I think I went numb days ago."


"We were so worried about you, I had to make Mom take a break from searching this morning."

Jon and I rushed over to Brooke. I picked her up gently and held her to me.  She was ice cold and pale. "Baby, wake up, it's Carter, and Jon. Come on Brooke, speak to me baby."



"Mo... Mom... you... you found us... I knew... you would," I croaked out, barely able to stay awake.



"Do you think you can stand at all or do you need me to carry you?"



Parker and I went over to Brett. I took out a canteen of water I had with me and wet down his face a little. "Brett, I know you're in there. Come on, I need you to wake up."

"You know me very well. I'm going to take you home and you're never allowed to leave my sight again."


"If you'll support me, I think I can walk."


I went over to Jack and knelt down, getting those chains off of him. "God, I'm so glad you're alive."


"Nah, I've got much better." I said as he lunged at me and I swung an axe straight through his wrist.

"Okay. Love you," I whispered and leaned against her, watching Milo through my hazy vision.



"Alright. We've got you, come on," I said and helped him up, pulling his arm over my shoulders.



"Thank god you guys found us. We weren't gonna make it much longer. I'm gonna need help getting out, I think my leg's broken."



She didn't respond so I picked her up, holding her against me. "Help me get her out of here," I said to Jon.



"You got it. And remind me never to piss her off," I said, watching Abi swing her axe into the guy's neck.



I ran over to Lea and took my shirt off, wrapping it around her before picking her up in my arms. "It's okay baby, I'm gonna get you out of here."

"I love you too."


"It's alright, I've got you." I said and hoisted him up.


The asshole dropped to the ground holding the fatal gash in his throat. I knelt down and whispered in his ear. "I'd go ahead and cut your filthy head off but I'm going let you bleed out." I said and stood, kicking him hard in the ribs.

We all watched as Ty and Milo finished off that other bastard and left him laying in the dirt, the other one was gasping for air already, he didn't have long. "Excellent job, you three. Come on, let's get out of here."


Brett wasn't waking up so I took his arms and hoisted him up over my back. "Come on, let's get them back to camp."

I winced and put a hand on my ribs. "Think a... couple of my... ribs are... shit... broken too. Or at least bruised. Can we take it slow?" 



Milo came over to me and I tried to reach my arms out to him but I could barely move. "M-M-M-Milo," I whispered, starting to shiver. 

"Yeah, of course."


"it's okay, I've got you. We're going home." Asher led the way out and we all followed behind him.
