"Nope, you're right on time," I said, smiling at her. "Are you two ready for breakfast?"

We both nodded " Starving. Smells like someone is already cooking."

"Probably Jack, he's always up earlier than everyone else," I said as I walked with them to the mess hall.

We walked back to my place and Chelsi went inside , Josie behind her. " so umm, what are you doing later, wanna go for a walk, or something?"



"I'd love that. I'm not busy later. Would you like to join me for dinner too? We could eat, then I can show you the sand dunes, they're pretty cool."

I smiled and nodded, "I would really love that, maybe chelsi can stay and keep Josie?" i said i would talk to her and then leaned up and kissed his cheek, the smell of him making me breath in deep. "You smell, very manly." i said and shook my head.

I smiled and leaned down, kissing her cheek. "And you smell lovely. I'm looking forward to seeing you later."

I watched him walk in then went inside my own place and started to unpack.

I went about taking care of chores during the day, grabbed a light lunch, then finished a few things up before going to meet Beth for dinner.

I had just washed off and gotten dressed when he showed up." You look very nice." i said as i came out. I had on jeans and a white tshirt and my hair was braided down my back. I grabbed my boots and said "Im ready when you are."

I smiled. "I'm ready. And you look breathtaking. I have a picnic waiting for us at the Mess Hall, we can take it with us," I said and held my hand out, seeing if she would take it.

I grabbed his hand and a the small bag had with a blanket and radio and laced my fingers with his. "A picnic, really i...i have never been on one."

I smiled. "There's just something extra fun about eating without a table and chairs," I said and laughed.

"I can agree with that, so uh lead the way. I am excited." i said as we went to get the basket and headed to the dunes.

We got back and chelsi was asleep with josie curled up at her side. I covered her and kissed her cheek and then changed into jeans and a sweat shirt and grabbed the booze ad a blanket and came back out side. "Her and josie are knocked out."

I smiled. "Josie can stay with her, I know Chelsi likes her. Josie's really taken with her too."

We walked out to a small field, within view of the cabin and l laid out the blanket. " hope you don't mind sharing." I said as we sat, his guitar setting to the side.

"Nope, I don't mind at all. Anything in particular you'd like me to play for you?"

"nope, i imagine being out here all this time, you probably have come up with alot of original material. I wanna hear that." i smiled and then laid down on my side while he grabbed his guitar.

I smiled and positioned my guitar on my lap. "Your wish is my command," I said and winked at her before starting to play a slow song.

I laid on my back and stared at the stars, just feeling more relaxed than i had in years. I close my eyes as he played and when he was done i opened them to find him staring at me. "You play beautifully, you will have to teach me."

I smiled at her. "I'd like that. My dad started teaching me when I was younger, and I kept teaching myself after he died, so I don't know what a lot of the notes are called," I said and laughed a little.

I stared at him a moment, lost in how blue his eyes were and then smiled. "well i do know that much, chelsi actually took lessons from a friend of ours named Cash back in district one, a while ago. I may even have some of the old books in the bags we towed up here."

"So we can teach each other. Anytime you want to, it's a date." I smiled at her, unable to look away. "God I could stare at you forever."

I smiled and reached up and pulled him to me. "Yeah i kinda get lost in your eyes as well." i said and kissed him, hearing his groan as he pulled me up into his arms and kissed me back.

I wrapped my arms around her and slowly deepened the kiss. Her arms wrapped around my neck and she kissed me back and I couldn't help but groan again, she felt perfect in my arms.
