"I hope you're right. What did you need to talk to me about?"

"About what you asked me earlier. I'd love to but I made a promise to Carter that I would help him with Daphne. I don't want to back out on that promise. But now that you're back I still want to see and spend time with you. Like we used to. If you want, that is."

I sighed. "Of course I want to. I can't pretend I'm comfortable with you living with another guy though."

"I know...I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you wanted to drop by and stuff. His fiance passed away about two months ago."

"I see. I'm sorry about that. How long have you been staying with him?"

"Just a few weeks, and we have separate rooms."

I nodded slowly. "Okay."

"You don't like it still, I can tell."

"No, I don't. What do you want me to say Brooke?"

I shrugged "Nothing, I guess."

"I'm just trying to be honest with you. Isn't that supposed to be a good thing?" 

"I never said it was a bad thing. But you've never been unhappy with me before so I guess I'm just...not sure how to process it."

"I'm not unhappy with you. I'm unhappy with myself. I should've come back way before this. Should've asked you to move in with me a long time ago." 

I walked over to him and put my arms around his torso "It's alright, Jon. When Carter tells me that he no longer needs my help, I'd love to move in with you."

I smiled. "Really?" 

"Yeah, I'd love to."

I smiled. "That makes me really happy," I said and leaned down to kiss her. 

I put my hands on his face and deepened the kiss, he pulled my against him and things were going to get carried away quick if we didn't slow down. I managed to pull away with a smile "As much as I'd love to keep this going, It's getting late."

"You could always stay with me," I said, kissing her then slowly kissing down her neck. 

"Mmm. Maybe tomorrow night I can spend the night."

"Mmm, I'd like that. Very much," I said, sucking on her neck for a moment before reluctantly letting her go. 

"So, would I. Will you walk me out?"

"Yeah sure. You want me to walk you over to his place? It's kinda late." 

"That's fine with me. Thank you." I took his hand and allowed him to lead me out the door.
