Nicholai Sullivan

I was released from the hospital and was home in a few hours. I went in and ordered Autumn to be brought to me as soon as possible. I knew she would've been taken to my personal physician and he would have her fixed up perfectly. I poured a drink and waited for her to get there.

They brought me to Nicholai's home and escorted me inside. After taking care of my wound and scar they had someone come in to fix my hair and dress me for him. I felt like throwing up as we entered the room where he sat and they left me there with him.

"Can I get you a drink?" I asked as I got up to refill mine.

"I'm not thirsty." I said, stiffly and crossed my arms.

"Don't cross your arms," I said and poured her a drink anyway. I went to her and handed it to her. "Here. Drink it."

I uncrossed my arms and took the drink, looking into it. I looked back up at him "I want to call Chad or Brady. Now." I said, setting the drink down on a small end table "I'm. Not. Thirsty."

"I didn't ask if you were thirsty. I said to drink it," I said and put the glass back into her hand. "You don't touch the phone until, or if, I say so."

I didn't say anything but threw the glass across the room, shattering it against the wall "I said I wasn't fucking thirsty!"

I backhanded her hard, knocking her to the floor. "And I said I didn't fucking ask! I tell you do to do something, you fucking do it! Do. You. Understand. Me."

"Get away from me." I said glaring up at him and holding my face "Is this why you wanted me here? So I could be your punching bag?"

"No. I want you here because you belong to me. I'm going to have divorce papers drawn up for you and that bastard. You'll sign them, and then you'll marry me, or there'll be hell to pay."

"You'll have to kill me, Nicholai. I'll never marry you, I'll never love you. I love Brady."

"Love has nothing to do with this sweetheart. We have an arrangement, and you are going to keep it, or your husband and your son are going to die. Is that what you want?"

"How manly of you, using threats to get your way and all."

I knelt down and grabbed her chin, forcing her to look at me. "Is that what you want? Because trust me, I can have that arranged right now."

I jerked my chin from his grasp and stood up, stepping away from him "I don't understand why you're still doing this after all of these years." I said going over to the window to look out "Brady won't stop until I'm home, you know that right? No one could keep us apart when I was 15 and it won't be any different now."

"Yes it will. You're mine Autumn. The sooner you realize that the easier all of this will be for you."

"Why is having me so important to you? Why was I promised to you in the first place?"

"That is none of your concern. Though you might want to ask your father. He is the one that initiated the deal." I poured us both another drink and handed the glass to her. "Don't throw the glass again. Drink this, then you're going to join me for dinner."

"And did he initiate it before or after I met Brady?" I said taking the glass but still reluctant about drinking anything he gave me.

"That isn't relevant." I looked at her. "It's not poisoned. Don't you think if I wanted you dead I would've found a much more creative way?"

"Being dead isn't what I'm worried about." I glared and took a sip "Please explain why it isn't relevant. It's VERY relevant to me."

I chuckled. "Fine, have it your way. He initiated the deal after you met Brady. He said you deserved more than... what were his exact words? Oh yes - 'My daughter deserves better than that lowlife bastard piece of trash could ever give her. Please... do me this favor, I beg of you.' Didn't help that he already owed me money. So... in a manner of speaking, he paid me to take you." I looked her up and down slowly. "Not that I wouldn't have done it for free."

"Brady is a good man, and hard worker. He has worked more in a day at the age of Five than you will in your whole miserable life and that goes for my so called father too." I glared at him and started to pace the room, I hated the way he was looking at me.
