Quin & Aurora

I rubbed my temples when the pounding got worse, trying to remember what I'd been doing. Making breakfast, that's right. I went back to what I was doing, hoping the pain subsided soon. I couldn't stand headaches.

We got to the house and she had explained more on the way. I walked up to the door and knocked "Quin. It's Asher." I said and waited.

I heard knocking but ignored it, just focused on what I was doing. I didn't want to deal with anymore bullshit today.

"Quin. Seriously, open the damn door." I said and pounded on it again.

"I'm not opening the fucking door."

"I will tear this piece of shit off the hinges if you don't open it. Third time is a charm. Open the door."

"You break it you fix it, mother fucker."

"Asher...I'm not sure if this is a good idea."


"He isn't leaving me with a lot of options. Stand back." I told her and she did as I asked. I took a step back and lifted my leg kicking the front door in as the hinges shattered.

"What the fuck!" I yelled and came in the living room to see none other than... Jasper... A noise came out of me, almost like a growl, and I grabbed for a knife that was on the kitchen table, not knowing where my gun was right now. "Get the fuck out of my house right now you bastard."

"What in the hell!?" I yelled as he came at me with a fucking knife. He swung it out me and I grabbed his wrist, trying to twist it away "You crazy son of a bitch!"


"Oh my God, Quin! Stop!"

I jerked my hand back but he didn't let go of my wrist, so I swung with my other hand, my fist connecting with his jaw. He stumbled back but I stood my ground. "Get the fuck out of my house. Next time I come at you I won't miss."

I reached up and wiped my mouth, blood smearing across the top of my hand. I curled my fist and came at him, hitting him in the nose. As he stumbled back I tackled him to the ground and pinned his arms down with my knees and hands. "Look at me, Q! Stop struggling and fucking look at me!"

"Get off me Jasper! Fucking pussy! Get the fuck off me, you bastard!" I yelled, trying to buck him off me. I head butted him hard enough to make my head spin and saw blood coming out of his nose but he didn't let me go, just held me down harder.

I couldn't take anymore and tears automatically filled my eyes. What else could we do? Asher would just have to hold him down until he came out of this...whatever it was. How could he confuse Asher with Jasper? Talk about day light and dark. "Please. Please stop, Quin."

My head pounded harder, piercing pain shooting through it, making my vision blurry. I groaned and closed my eyes as my stomach rolled. Someone was holding me down and I couldn't move. My head kept pounding more and more and my stomach rolled again, the pain unbearable. I turned my head as much as I could and couldn't hold it back, throwing up all over myself.

I got off of him and lifted his head up so he wouldn't choke on the stuff. Aurora ran past me, getting some wet cloths to clean him up with. "Q? Are you with me?" I asked.

I groaned and threw up again then rolled to my side, my whole body shaking. "Wha... wha... what happened?" I mumbled.

"You're just sick. Aurora needed help so she came to get me. Come on let's get you in bed." Aurora got on one side and we lifted him up, placing him in the bed and she went back to cleaning everything up. I got him a cup of water to drink and brought it over to him. "Here, drink some."

He had to help me sit up a little and I took a few sips then laid back down. "Don't remember... anything... Did I... did I... black out again?" I mumbled.

I took a deep breath and nodded. "Yeah, you did." Brown Eyes ran out of cloths and started shredding up one of her shirts. She brought the pieces over and gave me one for my mouth and nose. Then started to dab at Quin's nose with another but even thought she was trying to hold back she was visibly shaking.

I winced. "What happened... to my nose...? Fucking hurts," I mumbled.

"You tried to stab Asher and the two of you had a scuffle." I told him.


"Man, you hit hard."

"I... wait... what? I didn't... did I?" I mumbled, trying to get my thoughts sorted out.

"You did but no hard feelings. You thought I was Jasper so I can understand why you wanted to kill me. How long has this been going on? Don't fucking lie either."

"I thought you were... what... no fucking... way, say that again?"
