"You know exactly what would happen. What is your point?"

"Why is it that you can fuck someone else and I can't? Please explain to me how that's fair?"

I knew better than to feign innocence. She was smart. And she had probably heard someone talking. I sighed and leaned back in my chair. "Calm yourself Joy. What I do is my business, not yours. I do not need to explain myself to you, or anyone else. You are not my wife, you are my mistress. You are mine. You do what I say, end of story. It is past time you realized that. And these little tantrums of yours need to end. Now."

"Fuck you. You've taken everything from me! My home, my family, and somehow you've managed to even take me away from myself. You'll never touch me again...I won't allow it and I know you won't rape me. Stay away from me. I don't belong to you or anyone else, I'd rather live in a shack than stay here and look at you everyday. You make me sick! I want a life, I don't want to be stuck with you! Punish me, I don't care but do what you need to do and then let me go. Anything...anything is worth my freedom away from this hell hole. Keep me here and I'll make all of you miserable, it'll me life's mission."

"You have more freedom with me than you ever did or would have ever had, had you remained with your father. Do not interrupt me, you know it is true. The only reason you were still a virgin when I took you in was for the simple fact that he couldn't decide between the men vying for your hand, which prize to choose. Did he want money, jewels, crops and livestock, or ships and soldiers. I gave you a home and have never asked much from you. I have never taken you against your will, and I never will. But I have never promised you a monogamous relationship, because I would never lie to you. Tell me, what has happened to provoke this particular tantrum? Who do you so desperately want to fuck that you would come storming in here like this, demanding things you have no right to?"

"Because I will not allow anyone else to touch you. You belong to me. But I belong to no one. I do as I please. You do as I say. You may not think it is fair, but that is how it is. And you would do well to remember that. Now answer my question. Who is he."

"Just because I'm upset at the fact that you decided to pound the bottom out of some whore doesn't mean I want to straddle someone else."

I held back what I really wanted to say and straightened in my chair. "It doesn't mean that you don't either. If I find out there is someone else, I will find him and slit his throat myself. Get out of my site and go back to your room. And for once, do what you are told. I will not hesitate to post guards at your door again."

"No, you don't tell me what to do anymore. I'm leaving."

I stared at her, unsure what to say for a moment. "No you are not. You are not a free woman. You ultimately have no say in what you do or where you go. Go back to your room now, or I will drag you there myself and lock you in." 

"Oh, I'll go to my room. But I'm packing a bag and I'm leaving. Lock me in, post your soldiers, but I'm not staying here."

"Yes. You. Are. Continue to push me Joy and you will be in the dungeon. I do not want to do that, but you better believe that I will." 

"Your dungeon can't even keep me here. You really underestimate me Tywin, you really do."

"And you underestimate me Joy. Do not push my hand. I will not be disobeyed."

"If only your wife could see you now I can't help but wonder if she'd be proud or disgusted. I'm sure you've let her down."

Her words had me fuming. I didn't say a word, just got up and crossed the room until I stood in front of her and slapped her hard across the face. "You do not speak of her. You are not even half the woman she was Joy. I will not sit here and be disrespected, not like that, and especially not by you. I cannot even bear to look at you right now." I called to the guards outside and waited until they came in. "Take her to the dungeons. Make sure she is secured. And she will have no visitors, not unless I give my consent first."

They came to me and started handcuffing my hands behind my back, I looked up at Tywin and looked him in the eyes "She had to be a hell of a woman to put up with likes of you, she was too good for you." I said angrily and spit in his face just as they started pulling me away.

"Get her out of my site," I said and watched as they dragged her from the room. I turned to Ian as I sat back down. "Has she had any visitors since you started as her guard?"



I shook my head, thanking god for my discipline, that I was able to hold back all my emotions right now. All I wanted to do though was ring his neck until he no longer breathed. "No sir. No one comes to visit her. I have not seen her attentions wander to anyone else, if that is what you are asking." He nodded and dismissed me and I left quickly.

I was sitting in my cell barely picking at the food they had brought me. I hadn't said anything but I hadn't been feeling well at all the last few days. I wasn't about to whine or say anything to anyone, fuck that.

I went down to the dungeon and dismissed the guards, standing there and waiting for her to look at me. She looked pale, her skin off color. I could tell she was sick but she hadn't said anything to anyone.

I refused to look at him. I wouldn't allow myself, I just kept staring at the wall.

"You haven't been eating. You don't look well."

"How well do you expect me to look? I'm locked in a cell." I rolled my eyes "Please don't act like you're concerned."

"If I wasn't concerned I wouldn't have come down here. I don't want to keep you locked up Joy. But I'm not going to have you run away on me. You've made it quite clear that that's what's going to happen if you have your way."
