"I should, at the very least. Where are you?"

"My old room. Will you come up? I'd like to see you before I'm taken back. I don't blame you for being angry. Truly. I would just... really like to see you."



"Why? And what makes you think I want to see you?"



"I never assumed that you did. But, why wouldn't I want to see you? I'm not angry with you anymore and you've given me more than enough time to think about my actions."



"And?"



"And I'd like to thank you. In person, if that's alright," I told him.



"Thank me. Why do I find that hard to believe. Should I have my guards fetch you?"



"If you wish. But I promise you that I'm just sitting on my bed and talking to you, obviously. That's all. I really wish you'd see me, Tywin."



I didn't say anything for a minute. Something was tugging at the back of my mind but I pushed it away. I had always had a weak spot for her and she knew it. "Fine. I will be there soon."

"Have you eaten? I can ask the kitchen to bring your dinner here if you would like."



"That won't be necessary. I'll eat later." I hung up and made my way to her room.

When he came in, he didn't have any guards with him. I was still sitting on the bed. "It's good to see you."

I pulled a chair from the table and sat down. "Why exactly did you want to see me? You had to know I'd just take you back to your cell."

"Because despite the consequences I've missed you."

"And your precious Ian?" I said, trying to keep the sarcasm out of my tone.

"Being with him was wrong. I shouldn't have done that to you and I've deserved every punishment you've given me."

"I'm glad you finally learned your lesson. It doesn't really change anything though."

"Why?" I asked as I stood up and walked over to him. "Besides my moment of weakness I was always there for you and by your side. Wasn't I?" I asked him in a soft voice.

"Yes. But you betrayed me. I gave you everything and you left without a word. Just a note."

"I know. I'm so sorry for what I did. Won't you let me try to make it up to you?" I asked him. "I know I can be the woman you want me to be again."

"You think so? And how exactly do you think you can make it up to me?" I asked, resisting the urge to touch her.

"Give me a chance to be your companion again." I said, reaching out and caressing his face lightly.

"I don't know if I can trust you again," I said, reaching out and putting my hands on her hips.

"Give me a chance to earn it back. Please, don't send me back to that awful prison." I closed the distance between us and sat down in his lap. "Please?"

I stared into her eyes and could feel myself breaking. "Show me. How much you want that."

"I will. I've wanted to for so long." I put both of my hands on his face and lowered my mouth to his, kissing him gently.

I groaned and moved her to straddle me, circling my hands around her waist and holding her to me as I deepened the kiss.

When our kiss broke I kept my lips close to his. "Will you give me another chance? I love you. Despite what I did, I'll always love you."

"I'll think about it. I want to. But I don't know if I can trust you Joy. I really don't."

"I understand." I told him and kissed him again. "I'd really like to get cleaned up. Would you like to take a bath with me?"

"Yes. Lead the way."



I led him into the bathroom and started running water into the giant tub.



I leaned against the wall as I watched her. "You're still beautiful. And I really have missed you. You understand why I had to do what I did though, right?"

"Thank you." I smiled at him and started undress. "Of course, I do. I just hope one day you'll forgive me for what I did."

"Maybe one day I'll be able to."
