The Infirmary

I chuckled a little then winced when it hurt. "Well you won't have to fight me on that because I won't want to leave," I said and squeezed her hand a little.

"Good, I'm glad we agree on something."

"Doesn't happen very often does it," I teased.

"No but that's been the fun part." I said, laughing softly.

"I always thought the make up sex was the fun part," I teased.

"I should have said the disagreements lead up to the fun parts. Like arguing who's going to sleep on the floor and in the bed."

I smiled at her. "And your perfume."

I laughed "Yeah, that too."

I kissed her hand again. "I miss that perfume."

"Me too...it was my favorite." I said "I haven't thought about perfume or anything in a long time though."

"Me either. You're the only thing that's been on my mind."

"If you're trying to charm me....it's working." I teased him.

I smiled. "Just speaking the truth. I never did have trouble charming you though, did I?" I teased.

"Maybe at first. But then you kinda saved my life so I've been hooked since."

I smiled and kissed her hand. "I might've saved you from the river, but you're the one that saved my life baby. Not the other way around."

"I love you. If you could walk on your own I'd take you home right now." I leaned up and kissed his cheek.

"Too bad we don't have any wheelchairs out here."

"I bet some of the guys would take you home if we asked."

"Have to ask Pepper if it's okay for me to go home. But yeah, I'd be all for that."

"When she comes back we'll ask and see then."

"Okay Angel. Hope she says yes. I'm getting tired of laying in hospital beds," I said and stroked her hand with my thumb.

"You're gonna have to start staying out of trouble. Like I said...bodyguards."

"Like I said, you won't get any argument from me. I never wanna be like this again. Just wanna live out my life in peace with you."

"Can I ask you something?"

"Of course you can."
