Shopping District

I drove us into District 1. "Where did you leave your things?"

Skylar

I sighed a little "In the middle of the street so it's probably not there now. I may have repurchase everything unless a shop keeper got it for me."

Molly

I nodded. "We'll ask around, see if anyone picked it up for you."

Skylar

"Thank you." I told him as we parked and got out of the car. God, I hope I don't run into Damien. And what's her name again.

Molly

"No problem."

Skylar

I was lucky enough that the store clerk had gathered my things and held them for me. Skylar took the bags, As we walked out of the store I seen him again and froze. This time he was not very far and he smiled. That awful, devious smile that I'll remember for the rest of.my life. Panic surged through me again and I took off running in the other direction. I had to.cross the street, I had to get away. I stepped into the road way and I heard a horn blare and I just froze.

Molly

She took me by surprise when she darted away, but I'd be damned if I let anything happen to her. I took off after her and grabbed her from behind, pulling her back to the side walk a split second before the car would've hit her. She screamed, the sound ear splitting, as the car screeched to a halt, leaving black marks in the asphalt. "Molly! Stop it!"

Skylar

"Let me go!" I screamed.

Molly

"Molly!" I yelled as Dani and I ran to her. We were coming from the restaurant and had seen the whole thing.

Ryker

"Molly! Calm down! It's me! It's Skylar!"

Skylar

"Molly what's wrong? What's going on?"

Dani

I stopped struggling and just started crying "It was him. Ryker, it was him!"

Molly

"Who is she talking about?" I asked Skylar.

Ryker

"Someone from her past, she said he's been following her. What does he look like Molly? Calm down and try to tall to me okay?" I said as Dani put her arm around her.

Skylar

I grew cold when he told me that and I didn't need anymore details. "I know who it is. I'll be right back." I started checking the perimeter and checking the alley ways.

Ryker

I watched him walk away then turned to Molly and Dani. "Come on," I said and led them to the nearest restaurant. There were a couple of soldiers inside eating. "Stay here. Don't go anywhere okay?" I left and tracked down Ryker. "What do you know that I don't?"

Skylar

Once I was sitting down I started to get a hold of myself. "I don't want to be in here Dani..I just want to go home."


"Invading the compound that Molly was being held in was my first mission. She was the leader's main slave. If you know what I mean. And technically he's supposed to be dead, I don't know what's going on exactly." He was one of the most ruthless bastards I've ever encountered. I don't know what's going on exactly."

"I know Molly. We have to wait for Ryker and Skylar though."

Dani

I stared at him a minute, not sure what to say. "Well that's some information I could've used when Tywin put me on this. What does he look like?"

Skylar

"I hope they're okay."


"He didn't give you any details at all?" I asked and shook my head then gave Skylar a description of him. "He was a long scar going down the right side his face so he's hard to miss. He's a big guy too."

"They'll be fine Molly. How have you been? Other than this?" I asked, trying to get her mind off things.

Dani

"All he told me was to stay with Molly at all times. I learned a long time ago not to ask questions when it comes to him."

Skylar

"I want to believe I'm doing okay but then I'd just be lying to myself."


"I need to talk to Damien about it and see what he thinks. But we all seen him die so...I don't know."

"What's going on Molly? Talk to me," I said and took her hand.

Dani

"I don't know either. We'll find him though. Let's keep looking."

Skylar

"I'm miserable, Dani. I'm getting married in a few weeks and I'm not even sure if that's what I want." I.sighed. "I seen Damien with another woman today... and he basically acted like I was crazy when I told him who I'd seen."

Molly

I shook my head. "You're not crazy. Things just... seem like they're crazy right now. Why aren't you sure if you want to get married?"

Dani

I didn't say anything for a moment "Because I still love Damien. But it's over and at the same time I want to settle and start a family. But Richard doesn't even know everything. I've never told him about Axle before."

Molly

"What have you told him?"

Dani

"None of the details. How can I? He wouldn't want me if he knew everything."

Molly

"How can you say that? He loves you, of course he would still want you. You should be honest with him."

Dani

"You're right I should...I just don't know how to even start a conversation about it but he'll want to know why Skylar is with me and why."


We looked everywhere but had no luck. If he were here then how would he manage to get away so fast. "I don't know what to think about all of this." I finally told Skylar.

"Yes he will. You just have to... be honest with him. Tell him you haven't told him everything about your past, and you thimk he should know before you two get married."

Dani

"Me either. If he really was here, he has to know these streets like the back of his hand, which isn't probable, or he has to be getting inside help."

Skylar

"Should I call and let him know what's happened?"


"And that is not good."

"No. You'll just freak him out and he'll be down here faster than you can say 1-2-3."

Dani

"No it's not. If that's the case, we'll need to find out who it is."

Skylar

"You're right."

"We need to talk to Damien since he would know him better than us."
