Damien

"Any luck?"

Dani

"I'm Fucking with him." I smiled

Stop acting like you don't care about her.
Ryker

I smiled. "How so?"

Dani

Text - I'm not acting.

Damien

"By just being you." I said and kiss her.

Text - Wow. You're being a real dick.

Ryker

I smiled into the kiss and kissed him back. "You're a real charmer, you know that?"

Dani

Text - Tell me something you don't know. I'm the same person I've always been.

Damien

"Thank you, baby. I try."

Text - Yeah, well you shouldn't be an ass to those who love you.

Ryker

"Well you do a very good job," I said and kissed him again.



Text - I can count the people that do on one hand and still have five fingers left over man.

"I'm glad. Now if only Damien would listen to me."

Text - Whatever. You know good and well that a few of us do.

Ryker

"I know. You can't make him though. He's worse than a two year old."

Dani

Text - And I know plenty that don't. Doesn't change anything. You want me to admit that I still love Molly right? Not gonna happen.

Damien

"Indeed. And I have a bad habit of not minding my own business."

Text - I just think it's sad that you try so hard not to care about her when she still loves you. I know it for a fact and you're going to set around and let her marry some other man.

Ryker

I smiled. "If he'd be honest with himself, he'd say that he appreciates that about you. You're the only one that can deal with him sometimes."

Dani

Text - Exactly. She's marrying someone else. Pretty obvious she doesn't care about me as much as you think she does.

Damien

"I try. Would Molly be super pissed if I told him what she told you?" I asked but decided to tell him anyway.

Text- She told Dani that she's having second thoughts because she's still in love with you. So, stop being an ass and do something about it.

Ryker

"Um... probably. You already did though, didn't you?"

Dani

Text - Uh huh, sure, and I'm the dann tooth fairy.

Damien

"Maybe." I smiled.

Text - It's true, Damien. Why would I lie to you? These few years of being a complete asshole and the woman still has love for you.

Ryker

I shook my head. "She is going to be so pissed at you if she finds out you told him. You know that right?"

Dani

Text - Well she shouldn't. Once she gets married to what's his name maybe she can finally be happy.

Damien

"She'll forgive me. But I have to play a bad card right now, he's extra stubborn tonight." I said and smiled at her.

And what if she marries this guy and he turns out to be some abusive asshole or a cheater. He could be putting on a good face until after the wedding. If it even happens.

Damien had been on and off of his stupid phone throughout our whole dinner, and honestly it was getting irritating. "Who are you talking to?" I finally asked. -Priscilla

I smiled. "What did you say?" He showed me and I shook my head. "Now you've done it," I said and laughed a little.

Dani

Text - Then I'll kill him. She's a better judge of character than that though. She's not with me anymore right.

"Ryker. Sorry. I wasn't trying to be rude."

Damien

"Yeah...Molly won't be happy with me. Will you rat me out?" I chuckled and showed her his reply.

The last time I checked you weren't that much of an asshole, right? Besides, it's your judge of character that I really worry about.

I laughed a little. "No, I won't rat you out baby."

Dani

Text - What di you mean by that?"

Damien

"I appreciate that, sweetie."

It was your choice to break things off. Not her's.

"I could never rat you out, I'm not prone to rodent behavior," I teased.

Dani

I had my reasons. And she wasn't happy anyway.

Damien

"I know what kind of behavior you're prone too." I smiled and winked at her. 

Whatever. I'm 100% positive that the woman who just said she loved you, less than an hour ago was perfectly happy when you decided to cut ties. Don't give me that bullshit. 

I felt my face turn red and smiled at him. "I'd like to demonstrate some of that behavior when we get home," I said and winked at him.



It's not bullshit. Besides what I did was for the best.

"Oh, that can be arranged."

Best for who? You or her?"

"Oh can it now?" I asked with a smirk.

Dani

Best for her.

Damien

"Absolutely, baby."

I see. Well, I'm going to send her a message and tell her that you want to see her later. Okay? Cool.

"I can't wait," I said and kissed his neck.

Dani

No. Not cool. Leave it alone Ryker.

Damien

"Me either. And you probably shouldn't do that to me in public. The restroom stalls aren't that cozy."


I can't do it. Sorry. It's because I love you, though.

"Mmm, but it would be fun," I said and bit his neck gently.

Dani

You can and you'd better. Leave it alone or I will kick your fucking ass.
