Main Camp

"Yeah I bet. What the hell happened out there? I was out hunting."

I got cruz to his cabin and told jayson. "Keep an eye on this one." i said nodding at feeny.

"I was gonna see did you wanna go to the waterfall, its gonna rain and its always that ainbow you like and all, ..."

"Yeah sure," I said and watched as they walked inside. "So... you wanna talk about it?"



I smiled and blushed just a bit. "Yeah... yeah I would love that."

"Take me to the other camp, please Jayson?"




"Really, i mean we normally all go as a group and all.."

"I don't... know if that's the best idea Fee."



"Yeah I know but," I shrugged. "I wouldn't mind. I like spending time with you."

I looked at him. "Dont even, even tell me you are siding with my dad."

I smiled down at her, then turned away. "Well yeah, we are like, real close friends right."

"I'm not saying that, I just... think we need to be cautious. After what happened, there's no telling what kind of people they are. I don't want you to ge thurt."



My heart sunk a little. "Friends... yeah... yeah of course we're friends," I said and smiled a little.

"Im not gonna get hurt, i just wanted to see. Jay please?"




"Good, i mean you have always been there for me. I think you have stitched me up more than anyone else."

"You mean you're not gonna make a run for the chick that shot Cruz? I mean if you can promise me that, I guess we can go out there. I don't know how much I want to interact though. We don't know anything about them."



"How could I not, I mean... well... I mean I'm good with a needle right so... And I like taking care of you. Everyone. You know what I mean."

"We wont even let them know we are there. I just wanna see someone, anyone else. I promise i wont engage the girl wh shot dad. I wouldnt know who she was anyways right."




"Why you acting all different. I saw you with my brother earlier. Hes really not your type yanno." i said quickly.

"I don't know, would you?" I sighed. "If you really wanna go I'll take you. But you promised, no interaction alright?"



"Your brother? Jay and I are just friends, that's it."

"Yes, i promised already. Why are you acting this way? Come on." i said and we headed out into the woods away from where the others were.



"Really, well i could see why he would like you."

"I just don't want anything to happen to you, that's all."



"I don't like him like that, we're just friends. And besides, what would you know about my type?" I asked, smiling up at him as we walked.

"Well you are here. Nothing is gonna happen to me. Right?"



"What is your type? I saw you, when the group came up. You were checking out that one guy pretty hard." i asked with a raised brow.

"Right. I'll never let anything happen to you."



"Keeping an eye on him more like, he wouldn't put down his weapon. If I told you my type I doubt you'd believe me. You'd probably just laugh anyway."



I got back to camp and hollared for Scarlett and the boys.

"Carlisle, whats wrong?" I asked him.

"Sherri's in labor. Where is Scarlett and my boys, do you know?"

Scarlett and Cruz came from his house and the boys were heading our way too "Looks like they heard you."

"Dad, what's going on?" I asked as we came up to them.



"Your mom's in labor, back at the other camp."

"I'll go back with you." I told him and looked to the others "You're welcome to our camp if you would like."

I made sure everyone was there and we headed back.

I had no idea where I was or how long I'd even been gone. I hadn't eaten in days and was sick with chills and a fever, barely hanging on after that snake had bit me this morning. I stumbled into what looked like a camp, though it was hard to tell, I was dizzy and my vision was blurry. I couldn't see anyone around but couldn't summon the energy to speak even if there was. I took one more step before I crumpled to the ground and passed out.

I was out getting stuff ready for my brothers return when i saw the female laying there, covered in sweat. I saw the swollen leg and ripped at her pants, swearing low. I picked her up and carried her to the tent where Gen was. "Get the anti venom kit, Now."
