| I shrugged a little and signed It's about the same as most, I suppose. It's just Levi and I, we lost our parents and he does his best to take care of me. When Rosalie came along I was pretty happy to have another girl around. I think he likes her but he's pretty stubborn. | |

| I smiled. Most guys are. I've lost both of my parents too. It would've been just me and my little sister if Asher hadn't taken me in. How did you lose your parents?

| I nodded. Ah okay. I'm really sorry. My dad was killed in a mining accident when I was little. And my mom died not long before we left Kampfer. She got really sick.

| We were in the woods now and close to the stream. We passed a tree and I knelt down for a moment, picking some flowers that were growing at the base of it. Do you like wildflowers? I signed to her before handing them to her. | |
