"That'd be nice, thank you."

"Of course. After you leave with Ethan I may go over to the school and start putting together lesson plans." I said, thinking that diving into my work may be for the best right now.

I nodded. "If you need any help let me know. I... I helped Trini a lot... with her schoolwork and stuff."

"Thanks, I will. I'll ask around and see who'd like to pitch in a helping hand."

I nodded. "Sounds like a plan. Are you ready to head back home, or you want to keep walking around?"

"We can head back now if you want, I just wanted to see the school."

"Let's head home then," I said and put my arm around her. "Maybe we can try eating again, what do you say?" I asked and smiled a little down at her.

I smiled back at him "Sounds like a plan."

We got back to the house and I fixed us something to eat. "How are you feeling?"

"Alright. You?" I asked him as I forced down another bite of food.

"I'm okay," I said, looking at the food and taking a deep breath before taking a bite.

We didn't say much as we finished dinner, both of us forcing every single bite down. I couldn't risk not eating, the sickness had already caused me to lose quite a bit of weight. I finally pushed my plate away and stood slowly "I'll clean the dishes."

"I'll help you," I said and helped her gather everything up, taking it to the wash bins.

We heated the water and I started washing as he rinsed "I think helping Ethan sill be good for you."

"You think so?" I asked and she nodded. "I just figure... I need to get out, you know? Can't keep hiding from the world. Even though I might want to."

"I understand, and I think Ethan does too."

I nodded. "I hope it helps. Hopefully keeping busy will help you too. I'm sorry I haven't... been there for you much."

"That isn't true. You've been a great comfort to me, Ronin."

I smiled a little. "Well I'm glad. I... I didn't think I'd been the best company. I was... kind of afraid you might regret moving in here."

"I've never regretted it for a moment." I said, smiling back at him.

I smiled back at her. "Me either."

"Good. I'd hate for you to kick me out, I've never been evicted before."

I couldn't help but chuckle a little. "I could never do that, especially not to you."

"Thank you, it means a lot." I teased and laughed a little.

"Well you're very welcome," I said and smiled at her. "It's been... awhile since you laughed."
