"Good morning. I had breakfast brought to you. Mr. Lannister had some business to take care of this morning and said to make sure you were fed."

"Good morning." I smiled and stepped aside so he could come in. He took the try over and placed it on my table "Have you had breakfast?" I asked him as the television in my room flipped on by itself and it was Tywin. I watched and listened to his announcement. He was going to take their sons just like he's taken Ian "No...no he can't do that."

I was about to say something when she ran out of the room and took off in the direction of his office. I went after her, knowing I would catch hell if I left her alone. I found her at his door, arguing with his guards.



"I cannot let you pass Miss. Mr. Lannister is conducting important business and he commanded no interruptions. Now get back!"

- Guard

"If you touch me again, I will command my body guard to kill you! Now MOVE out of my WAY!"

They took one look at me and moved and I followed her into the office.



"What is this? I asked for no interruptions. What are you doing roaming the halls in your nightgown?"

"I don't care what you asked for! And I don't care that I'm in my nightgown either! What is this? After all these people have went through you're taking their sons from them? Yes, Tywin. You're sure to gain their favor by kidnapping their sons!"

I put my hands on my desk and slowly stood up. "First off, you do not address me that way. Ever. Second off, the way I conduct business and the way I lead a nation do not concern you. Do I make myself clear?"

"You're starting off pretty poorly don't you think? I know I'm just you're whore that you enjoy calling on but I am a person. I have feelings and opinions, these people don't want to be bullied anymore and that's exactly what you're doing. You won't get any cooperation out of them."

"I will get what I want from them, just as I have every nation I've taken over. I have not failed yet and I will not fail now. Now mind your tone. Now. Do you understand me?" I said, barely keeping my temper in check. She had never spoken to me this way and I wasn't going to let it slide because she'd let her emotions get the better of her. "I am a leader. I do things the way I do because it works. I have no time for sympathy. And I have no time for these foolish games. Get out of my sight until you can control yourself better."

"Fuck you! How's that for minding my tone!?" I screamed and stormed out of the office, Ian behind me.

I looked at my guards in the doorway. "I want guards outside her room. She is not to leave under any circumstances until I decide otherwise." They nodded and called for soldiers to be posted in the hall outside her room then shut the door of my office again.

We got back to her room and I stood there, not knowing what to say. "Are you alright?"

I held back the tears that were burning my eyes and shook my head "No, I don't think so."

I got some tissues and held them out for her, wanting nothing more than to take her in my arms and comfort her.

I took the tissues and wiped my eyes "I just can't stand the thought of him taking children from their parents." I whispered "I must have really done it this time. He even put guards at my door."

I didn't know what to say to that. I gestured at a chair and she nodded so I sat, pouring her some coffee, glad it was still warm. "I know it seems barbaric what he's doing. But at least the children... that are taken won't be mistreated. They'll be taken care of. I was." Yeah I'd been taken care of but I'd never known love, never known comfort. All I'd known my whole life was being a soldier. It was a lonely life and one I wouldn't wish on anyone.

"No matter how good they'll be treated, that still doesn't make it right."

"No, I agree. It doesn't," I said and looked up at her. "I have always been fed well, always had clothes on my back, a roof over my head, and a warm bed to sleep in. But my life has been lonely. Being a soldier... fighting... is all I know. I haven't known comfort, or love... I've never been hugged. Never felt like anyone really... truly cared for me. As I told you before, I am not permitted to marry. So I have never known the feeling of my soul being connected to another's. I will never know what that is like. I wouldn't wish my life on anyone," I said and looked down again.

"I'm so sorry..." I whispered and found myself moving closer to him. "Would you feel something if I hugged you?" I asked him as I put my arms around his waist and hugged him, my head resting on his chest.

I was shocked that she'd hugged me, but the feeling was so nice I wasn't about to stop her. I slowly wrapped my arms around her, hoping I wasn't holding her too tightly, and rested my head on top of hers. "You are very warm," I said quietly, not knowing what else to day. "You feel very nice... in my arms."

"And you feel very nice in mine. Now you've been hugged." I said, smiling a little but I didn't pull away "Do you think...he'll have me punished?"

"I am honored to get a hug from you." Someone as beautiful and kind and lovely as you. "And I hope not. That... that would upset me... if he were to punish you. You were just upset. As you have a right to be."

"I'm not sure what he'll do, I've never been in trouble with him before." He was so warm against my body and his arms encircled around me made me feel safer.

"I hope, if he punishes you at all... it isn't anything harsh. You don't deserve to be treated harshly, just because you don't like something he has planned. You shouldn't have to agree with him on everything."

"Well, he obviously doesn't want me leaving or going anywhere." I sighed "I don't think he's ever heard me swear before. I'm always on my best behavior."
