Molly Deveraux

"Sure. It will give you a chance to look around too."

Molly

I nodded. "Alright. I haven't really... left my room... unless I had to," I said quietly.

Raine

"Don't be afraid here. Everything will be fine as long as I'm around."

Molly

"Okay. Thanks Molly," I said and moved so she could open the door.

Raine

I opened the door and we started to make our way down to the dining area and kitchen. "Do you have anymore questions?"

Molly

I shook my head. "Not right now, no."

Raine

"Alrighty. Tomorrow you will get to meet a lot of people, I'm sure you'll like them. Especially Ryker, he's a sweetheart to everyone. Unless you mess with his new girlfriend Dani, that is." I smiled, as we walked to try and lighten the mood.

"I'm not... really good at meeting... a bunch of new people," I said quietly.

Raine

"You'll be fine, I promise." We finally reached the kitchen and there stood Xavier big as day drinking milk from the carton. "Seriously?" I asked him with a playful eye roll. "I thought you would be out working."


"I'm heading back out soon for my rotation." I smiled and tossed the carton in the trash. "Who's your new friend?"


"This is Raine Bast. Raine, this is Xavier but most just call him X."


"Nice to meet you Raine."

"You too," I said quietly, wrapping my arms around myself and staying behind Molly.

Raine

Molly gave me a look and I picked up on it's meaning. "I won't bite, Raine. You'll get used to seeing me around and I promise you'll start liking me. I better haul ass before Tywin finds me roaming around. Catch you ladies later." I said and left.

I couldn't seem to relax until he left the room. "I didn't mean to upset him or anything. I just... get uncomfortable around... people."

Raine

"Oh, honey he wasn't upset at all. I promise you'll know if he actually is or not."

I nodded. "Alright. Is there anyone around here I should... look at for?"

Raine

"Not to my knowledge but if anyone, man or woman isn't nice to you or rubs you the wrong way just let me know." I said "Well. There is Kent Ackerman but he hasn't been around for awhile and he's only here during special events."

"Ackermann? I think I know his sons. Just as acquaintances though. We weren't friends or anything."

Raine

"He's a terrible person, I perfectly understand why his children left."

"What's he done?" I asked, absentmindedly helping her get some food ready.

"More like, what hasn't he done. He's into a lot of trouble right now with Tywin. He was behind the drugs that caused a lot of problems. He's kidnapped and murdered. I can't stand him, I hope he's found soon."

"They can't find him? I thought there was a lot of extra security and everything." 

"There is but he's one step ahead at the moment."

I nodded. "Well hopefully they find him soon." 

"So do I." I said as we finished getting the dinner plates ready. "Now we'll just put them on the cart and make our rounds."

"Do you hand out the meals to everyone?" 

"Not always but tonight I'm going to. It will keep me busy and take my mind off of things."

I nodded. "What do you usually spend your time doing?"

"Cleaning and Tywin usually leaves the special event planning to me. I make sure everything goes smoothly around here when it comes to the kitchen and cleaning."

I nodded. "You must keep pretty busy then." 

"Yeah, I do. Tomorrow I'll give you girls your assignments, it won't be anything too hard."
