"Yes he is. I stopped listening to his nonsense a long time ago, but that's never stopped him from spewing it."

"That's true. Come on, let's go see my sister." I said and we left for Nicholai's.

We got back to the house and I led her into the living room. "What's wrong? What got you so upset?"

"He is beating and raping Adalee probably everyday...she's not well Nate. I'm afraid her and dove won't last much longer. I've never seen Dove so depressed...she was always the happier one."

"That son of a bitch," I all but growled out. "We have to do something. I don't know what, but we have to do something. Come on," I said and took her hand, pulling her back up. I went to my study and got a stack of bills and put them in my pocket then went back out to meet her. "We're going to the prison. I've got more than enough money with me now to pay the guards to let us through and to keep silent. We need to make a plan, but we can't come up with it on our own."

"I couldn't agree more, and I hope you were right about being a fast learner. Your training starts tonight."

"What do you want to train me to do?" I asked as we got outside. We headed to the car and I waved away my driver before opening the passenger door for her. I didn't want any witnesses to where we were going.

I got into the car and waited for him to get behind the wheel "I'll train you on how to be stealthy, fight, maybe even kill with your bare hands if you have to. Not in the ways the Peacekeepers have trained but my Grandfather's way. The Native way. We can't let them stay there any longer, and to get Brady and Brayden out of prison...we'll eventually need to kick some asses and be very, very good at it."

"I've trained in Martial Arts, does that count at all? Not much, but I'm not completely helpless."

"I know you aren't completely helpless but I'm sure I can show you things you haven't learned yet."

"I know you can baby. When we get home we can go through everything you want to teach me. We'll have to work quickly though," I said and drove us through the gates, speeding a little so we could get their quicker.

"I hope they come up with something good."

"Me too baby, and we can try to think of something tonight too," I said as I led her back to the car.

"We should go see the boys and see what they think about everything."

I nodded. "Good idea. I'm not... sure we should tell them everything though. About their mother. Unless you think we should."

"No, I don't think we should just yet."

I nodded. "Alright. I just don't think it would be... the best idea."

"Me either, they'll go half cocked and do something without thinking it through first."

"Just like their father and uncle at times from what I understand," I said and smiled a little. "I've always wondered what it would be like to have a family that actually cared about me. Pasha was always the only one."

"Now you have my family too, they like you."

I smiled. "Do they? Good, I'm glad. I like them too."

"They most certainly do." I smiled "And I love you."

We were just pulling into the driveway at home and I stopped, turning my head to look at her. "You... you do?" I asked quietly, a bigger smile coming to my face.

I nodded "Very much. Thank you for distracting Nicholai so I could see my sister...and paying the guards off at the prison."

I put my hand on her cheek and leaned in closer to her. "Sky... I would do anything for you. You mean more to me than anything. And I love you more than you could possibly know," I said and leaned in, kissing her softly at first, then deepened it a little.
