Training Center

"You'll never have to worry about it, nothing in this life or the next could make me that desperate." I said and sighed a little "I apologize for putting my hands on you, even though that's what you wanted. That's not the kind of person I am." I said and walked away, not wanting to hear her nonsense anymore.

I rolled my eyes. Like I would ever want my hands on me in any way, shape, or form. I watched the rest of the training session, glancing up at the panel of five every once in awhile. They were taking notes, scoring the tributes. Eventually the session ended and they released the tributes back to their quarters. They would get a couple more days of training, some together, some private, then they would head to the games. I collected Bastian and Reese and took them back to their quarters so they could have dinner and rest.

I couldn't go into the training center, I knew someone would recognize me. I knew it was Milo when I saw him get out of his truck "Milo." I called and he turned his head, I walked towards him.

I saw Owen pull up and nodded at him as I walked to the guy. " yeah, who's asking?"

"Brayden Simmons. You might know my brother Brady and I'm...a friend of your mother's."

"Oh, well hey. What can i do for you man?"

"I'd like to talk to you, in private if that's alright. Can't really be showing my face too much."

"Come on, we can go sit in my truck. Owen, ill be there in a few man." i said and he nodded and we headed over to where i had parked. We got in and i kicked back and looked at him. "You're my dad arent you?"

"It's like looking into a mirror huh?" I asked him "I'm going to make that bastard pay for what he's done to you and Jennie."

"Oh, now you wanna help us? WEll no thanks. We do okay."

"I didn't know you were my son until today." I said "Besides Rick had me banished years ago, I've been laying low."

"Laying low. Where at?"

"Out in the Wilderness with some other guys I found."

"I knew it. I told mom. Shes...she's resigned to the fact that this is her life now. I hate that mother fucker. Whyd you leave us. Its obvious you came back, often since you got other kids and shit right?"

"I didn't leave your mother. Rick and his flunkies whipped my ass and the President gave me the damn boot for him. I didn't know she was pregnant with you, and coming up here and getting caught would have been bad for my health if you know what I mean. I'm sorry, but I'm here now. And I'm pissed."

"Yeah well stand in line." I said as his phone went off.

Get to Brady. Nicholais out for blood. I have Jennie.

I heard the phone go off and checked it "Fuck." I muttered "Take me to your uncle's house?"

"Why what's going on?" I asked.

"Jennie is with Pasha but Nicholai is going after Brady."

Shit, I muttered and headed out.

We arrived at the Capitol and were shuttled to the training center. "Shit this place is ginormous."

"Pretty damn."

"I wonder what they want us to do. I didn't really get a lot of info."

"I asked but they weren't very...talkative. So, who knows." I heard a door open and a woman strolled out.


"Alright, everyone. Let's set up a proper formation so I can introduce myself. Shall we?"
