Quin & Aurora

I rolled my eyes again. "Yeah, like that would ever happen, and I don't know anyone named Aurora. Not that I haven't heard plenty of people say that about you, but you're not a bimbo, although I do love your ass and tits. Look, whatever is bugging the hell out of you, knock it off, because it's putting me in a really bad mood."

"Fuck your bad mood. You have no idea."

"No I really don't. All I was doing was making you some breakfast, and you've gone all crazy and got a stick up your ass over god knows what. So why don't you pull it out and get over your attitude. You should probably get dressed and take off anyway, don't want Dad to find you in here again, that didn't go over well the first time." 

I got to Quin's house and I could hear them arguing inside and knocked anyway but they didn't hear me over their voices so I opened the door up "Quin?"

I froze when I heard Dad's voice. Shit..... I was really in for it now. "Just... stay in here okay," I said and went out there, sighing when she followed me anyway. He came inside and I lowered my head, not meeting his eyes. "I'm sorry Sir, she was just leaving, she just came by for a minute." 

I looked at Aurora and her eyes seemed almost empty. Quin was having a flashback of some sort, it was really obvious. From what Selma told me it sounded like he thought I was Carl. "It's alright." I told him. I couldn't take him back to Selma like this.

He started to walk towards me and I forced myself not to move, though I couldn't stop myself from flinching. "I'm really sorry, she was just leaving." 

"I told you it was alright. Why don't you just go lay down for awhile, you look tired."

I was so confused right now... Why the hell was he acting so... nice? "No thank you, Sir. I'm fine," I said, my eyes still on the floor.

"Quin, will you please sit down and eat your breakfast?" What was this guy doing here again, anyway?And why was Quin acting like this? Like he was...scared?


"She's right, you should eat something."

I nodded after a moment and slowly went to the table, sitting down in the chair I always did, and slowly pulled my plate towards me. My hands started to shake, no matter how hard I tried to keep them from doing so, and I knocked my plate straight off the table. I froze in place, my body unable to move. 

Parker bent down and cleaned up Quin's plate. He went back to the stove and refilled it for him. "I need to get dressed, I"ll be back in a moment." I told him and went back to my room to get dressed.

I stared at the plate of food but I couldn't seem to get my body to work right. I was frozen in place, my hands gripping the edge of the table so hard my knuckles were white. I didn't know why he was acting so different, but I was just waiting for the moment... I knew he'd blow any minute. 

"I'm going to step outside for moment." It was obvious that I was making him nervous and I didn't want that. I'd wait for this...whatever it was to pass. Aurora came out of the room, fully dressed now and I told her the same thing and she simply nodded.

I heard the door shut and sat there for a few minutes more, not saying anything. My head starting pounding and I leaned it against my hands, rubbing it, but it only made it worse. I got spots in my vision and started to get dizzy as the pounding got worse. I opened my eyes and blinked, not knowing how I'd gotten to the kitchen table, but the food in front of me was making me physically ill. "Fuck... Rory... can you get me something to... fuck I'm gonna be sick," I groaned. 

I rushed and grabbed an empty bucket by the stove and held it up to him as he started to throw up. Parker must have heard because he came back inside then and got Quin a cup of water.

I finally finished throwing up, and when the dry heaves finally quit, I reached for the glass of water and took a sip. "Thanks," I said then looked up to see... Parker? "What are you doing here?" 

"I'm sorry for showing up here, I know that's the last thing you want but your Mom sent me. It's about your sister. There was an incident last night and she harmed herself." I sighed "I know this isn't a good time to tell you but we knew you'd want to know."


"Why wouldn't he want you here?"

"She what? What the fuck happened? Is she okay?" I asked, trying to get up but wobbling on my feet. 

"She's resting and she'll be okay. I think you should get the details from Izzy and..." I had to think of his name for second "Gabriel. That's your brother isn't it?" I asked Aurora.


I nodded "Yeah, that's one of them. We'll head that way soon."

I looked at Aurora. "I'll talk to you about... stuff later okay? I need to see my sister right now," I said, holding onto the table for a minute to get my bearings. These fucking headaches were getting worse every time... I just wished I knew what the hell was wrong with me but there was no way to find out. I just had to keep toughing it out and hope it stopped... soon...

"Should I stick around and help you?" I asked him. I figured he'd say no but I wanted the offer to be on the table.


"What stuff? What is going on? We can talk right here and on the way if need be, but don't keep something from me." 

"No thanks, I'll be fine," I said and started to shake my head but stopped when that made me see spots again. "I'm not trying to baby, but seeing my sister that did god knows what to herself is just a tad bit more important at the moment than bringing up past bullshit. And it's gonna piss you off. I swear to you that as soon as we get back home I'll talk to you about... all of it. Can we just go see her first please?" 

Things were about to get hairy around here. Perfect time to leave. "I'll see you two in a little bit then." Aurora thanked me and I left.


"Quin. It's been a pretty shitty morning so far and it's pretty obvious that that day isn't going to get any better. Why can't you tell me on the way there?" 

"Because it's going to take a lot longer to explain than the two minutes it'll take to get over there," I said and headed to the door. "I don't want to rush through it. I want to have the time to discuss... all of it with you. I should've done it a long time ago. Can we please go? I promise we will do this later."
