"There are connections all over the place, putting them altogether will be like a damned puzzle. That goes for our fugitives too."

"What do you mean? What did you find?"

"The woman who escaped with her son a few weeks ago but her husband was killed? She's Blake's ex-wife, she ran with his son."

"That would explain his anger today and why he was extremely hungover. I would be too if some bitch ran off with my son."

"Unless he helped her do it."

"He has a lot to lose if he pulled a stunt like that. And I kinda like him so I really hope he didn't, but we'll never know...if so he covered his tracks well."

"Obviously the people here are good at doing that, seeing as how the fugitives were never found."

"They're quite smart, I'll give them that."

"And resourceful. Two districts were just about blown to smithereens and here they are, not thriving, but doing better than they should be."

"When we locate the fugitives we'll have to act fast, not giving them time to respond or strategize. Seems that they're quite dangerous when they choose to be."

"Yes, I've seen the reports. We'll have to take plenty of backup, surround them then move in."

"Father hasn't said what he'll do with them yet. I can guess what will happen to the more dangerous ones but what of the innocent ones who just simply left?"

I shrugged. "Who knows. Probably sold into slavery. He seems to be really interested in the Fighting Arena that's set up in District 1 though. Not the Pits, but the professional one."

"The one Mr. Clare operates...the crowd would love a good lady fight wouldn't they?"

I nodded. "Yes, I think they would. They would also love to see the ones that blew up their homes, in a fight to the death."

"We really need to figure out his accomplices once we have them detained."

"That shouldn't be too hard. We need to take a good look at the list of people that left. I'm pretty sure we can figure it out for the most part."

"I think so too, they're all connected somehow.They may still have ties here too that we don't know about yet."

"We'll need to investigate that as well, look at all the reports of the people remaining here."

"We can't have anyone warning them of what we're doing. We should keep it between us for now."

"That sounds like a plan. If any word gets out it would be detrimental. We are only going to have one shot at this."

"You're right, and we'll do well with this. We aren't as stupid as Father believes us to be."

"You're right, we're not. I'm sure together we can come up with a great plan. How is the lower district recruiting going?"
