Forest

I was way out past the boundaries my parents had set, but i was so bored. I caught sight of the small wild rabbit and took off, sprinting after it. It ran deep in to the woods and i knew i was gonna get it. I was about to give up the chase when i looked and saw the girl, and stopped in my tracks. She was walking, swinging a hunting knife and singing a song. She looked healthy and clean, which only meant one thing. I forgot the rabbit and ran back to camp to tell the others, strangers were close.

I started looking around quickly, my tracking abilities kicking in "They went this way. There was a few of them here." I told him "We need to hurry back, get weapons and a light, I'm sure we'll find them."

"Look,i said as we headed back, we need others. No one person took Allegra and Lea. They woulda kicked their ass."

"No there was a few of them, I could tell that much. We better get Brett too." I told him as we arrived back at camp.

We started searching around and I found a piece of fabric snagged on a bush. "This is Allegra's, she was wearing a shirt just like this."

I looked at mason and the others. "Should we split up?"



"I think we should stick together. What if we split up and something happens, we wouldn't be able to get help."

"Okay, Cam, Abi you two stay here, caleb will haul ass back if we need back up. Okay?"



"I want to go, I want to help. The more of us there are, the more chance we'll have of finding them. What if they're really in trouble?"

"Ezra, im not gonna even say the females stay here, i would pick you in battle in a heartbeat." i said and looked at Abi. "Someones got to stay. Soo, if you hear us yell, go. If we dont come back in an hour, go tell Jack and Link." i said and she reluctantly agreed.



"Same here Bastian," I said then checked that I had my weapons. I hadn't stopped carrying a gun in the back of my belt and had a knife down each one of my boots. "I'm good to go."

"I'll stay here and watch, just bring my friends back." I said "I have my battle ax, don't worry about me. If you aren't back in an hour I'll get Link and Jack."


"Alright, let's start heading that way." I told the rest of them.

I had ran after her and found her on the ground, sobbing. I wanted to punch Asher in his fucking dick. I squatted in front of her and pulled her in my arms, letting her cry.

I buried my face in her shoulder, unable to keep it together as I completely broke. I had lost Asher... for good. He never wanted to see me again... The look in his eyes as he'd glared at me, the words he had said to me, were ripping me apart from the inside out.

"He didnt mean that stupid shit, and if he did, well fuck him. I mean it. I hate your fucking sister. I really do, but i am still going with you to see her." i said.

I finally managed to compose myself and wiped the tear streaks from my face. "He did. He meant every word," I whispered, and wiped more tears. "Thank you," I said softly, my voice hoarse. "I can't go alone. I don't... know what to expect... but I can't just not go. And I can't... I can't let him kill her. No matter what she's still my sister."

"Id never let you go alone and I am pissed off Mason and Bastian didnt tell us first. They knew Asher was gonna flip out."

"He would've found out somehow. It's too late now anyway. He's... he's leaving. And he... never wants to see me again so..." I sighed somewhat shakily and let her help me stand. "I don't know where that girl went. Do you know where the other camp is?"

I cocked my head and said "Umm, yeah i was the first one there remember. Gheesh" i said ad hip bumped her. I saw Mason, Bastian and Widerness Barbie all heading back and yelled. "Hey, i need to talk to both of you right now."

"Sorry, I just didn't know if you remembered how to get there or not."

"No, this is not a hi babe moment, this is a what the fuck were you two thinking moment. Really, you go to Asher first, instead of to Timber, or me. You knew this wasnt gonna go well, and now look. What the hell Mason, i mean i see my brother over there is like a bitch in heat, whats your excuse, catch a scent as well?" i asked, crossing my arms.

"Timber and Asher were in same place, he just happened to open the door. He had a right to know too, I knew he was gonna be mad but I didn't know he would flip shit and kick her out. I'll talk to him."

"Like that's going to do any good. Really Mason, that's the best you can come up with? You've lived with Asher your whole life and even I know him better than that," I said quietly and crossed my arms, turning away a little.
