In Passing

"You shouldn't be here dear," I said from my cover behind a tree. I aimed at one of the assholes and got him right in the heart. I'd always been good at target practice. - Tyrion

I saw Joy laying in a ditch and was on my way to go check on her when I felt a blade slice into the back of my shoulder and stick. I turned around, my eyes searching out the culprit, and grinned when I saw him. - Quin

"You know, bitch. I never understood why Tywin gave you any type of authority and made you head of law enforcement. He had men and you were the enemy never made any fucking sense to me. I'll be happy to put you in your place though." -Rebel

"He was too smart to pull such a stupid move. I mean, look at you now, right? You couldn't have handled the power of authority, little boy. Come get some if you think you're capable." I said with a grin and just smiled even more when he rushed me.-Aurora

"You should have used a gun. Even that wouldn't have been effective though." I laughed as I ripped the knife out of my shoulder and went at him. He pulled a gun off of a body on the ground and shot me and I laughed when it grazed my side. "And he's a horrible shot." I rushed him and drove the knife into his head, burying it in his skull. - Quin

I watched Mason fight and damn he had gotten good. Very good. Not that he couldn't hold his own before but he was exceptional now. I could have watched all day but it was time to lay waste to these fuckers once and for all. -Asher

When we were done the ground was bloody and littered with bodies. I fought the urge that roared through me to spill more blood. The enemy was eradicated for now. The other soldiers looked at us with a wariness I tried to ignore. I turned to look for Aurora and, seeing she was unharmed, was about to go to her when Ben stepped through the trees. I turned away and searched for Joy. I had to make sure she was alright. - Quin

When Quin came to me, I looked up at him. "Is it over? My brother? Grey?" -Joy

"We're here, Joy. Everyone is alright." I told her as I came up beside of Quin. "Come now, get out of that ditch." Grey

"Come on Joy. Let's get you out of here." - Quin

"Alright." I reached and took his hand, he pulled me from the ditch easily. Joy

"Can we all get the hell out of here, now? Mason

I put my arm around her waist and pulled her close. - Quin

"I think that is a very good suggestion." - Tyrion

"I third that suggestion. Let's go." Asher

We gathered everyone up and began to head back. "We should all meet back at the Capitol building. The search party should be breaking soon." - Tyrion

"We have secured a lot of people at the training center." Mason

"Hopefully we can find everyone else that hasn't already been confirmed dead." - Tyrion

"Hopefully. I'd really prefer not to have more bad news. What are we going to do with the prisoners who have been captured?" Mason

"The only thing that should be done to avoid any future problems. Kill them." - Quin

"As much as I hate to agree with you on anything right now, you're right." Mason

I looked at him out of the corner of my eye. "Hate me that much right now?" - Quin

"I don't hate you. I just hate to have any kind of common ground with you at the moment. Also, thank you for not jumping off of that cliff you damn fool." Mason

"I wish I would have. Would have done everyone a favor. Better than having to be shot down in front of my kids next time I flip." - Quin

"We would never do that and you know it. She wouldn't allow it." Mason

I looked at him. "If I flip again, you'll do what needs done before I hurt someone." - Quin

I looked over at him too. Asher would never do what he was asking, neither would Preston or Ethan. He supposed that did leave just him. "If that's what you want. I'll do it." -Mason

I nodded. "I appreciate it." And I did. Although there was nothing quite like someone promising to shoot you if you went crazy. - Quin

"I won't do it in front of your loved ones unless I absolutely have to." Mason

I nodded again. "Good. They shouldn't have to see that." - Quin
