Asher Jacobs & Timber Lehmann

I was setting in a chair, looking out the window when the front door opened. I turned my head and it was Timber "Sorry, for pushing your hand away."

"It's okay," I said softly. "I pushed you away earlier. We're all just stressed out," I said and sat down beside him. "Talk to me. Please."

"I'm just tired, Timber." I said "Tired, and worried."

"What are you worried about baby?"

"Worried that my little brother may never really know me again." I said and sighed deeply, looking over at her "Come here, please?" I asked and she gently nodded, getting up and walking over to me. I put my hands around her hips and set her in my lap "I told you earlier that I would tell you everything."

"He will baby. And on the off chance he doesn't... then you'll start over again. Think of it this way, he may not remember you guys right now, but that means he doesn't remember any of the bad stuff either. It'll be okay," I said and kissed him softly. "You can tell me anything Asher. I hope you know that."

"I know. It feels funny talking about things, I've always been the listener." I said "I'm not sure where to start...I guess from the beginning and that was when I watched Peacekeepers kill my mom."

"You can't hold things in. You have to talk about things too baby." I put my hand against his cheek. "I am so sorry that happened baby," I said softly.

"Mason was too little to remember but Ethan and I did." I said "That's when I got really protective, Dad was doing what he could and our friends were helping him. Most of them are gone now too, though." I said "I've seen a lot of bad stuff Timber, I don't like to admit it but sometimes it's difficult to close my eyes at night."

"I know baby," I whispered and ran my fingers through his hair. "I know it's hard. But you have me. And you have a lot of people that care about you and love you. Don't ever forget that okay?"

"I'll do my best." I managed a small smile "It's time to...move on I guess."

"It'll take time Asher. We'll just have to be patient with each other, that's all. Is there anything else you need to tell me?"

"There's a lot more." I told her and went into more details. How they had used Ethan and Mason against me constantly, beat me, threw me into the games, and told her about Sebastien's mom. "Somehow they knew about Jo, they put us in together and then there was your sister...my biggest fan."

It was so hard to hold back tears, but I was trying, I didn't want to break down in front of him right now. "What... what, um... what happened?" I whispered. "I wasn't... able to watch... that year."

"She caught Jo, killed her right in front of me." I said "We were at the end too, I took my eyes off of her for one moment and that's all it took. I'm sure she was rewarded for the effort."

I put my head down, despising the fact that I was related to her. "I'm so... so sorry... god I'm so sorry baby," I whispered.

"Don't be, it wasn't you." I said and lifted her chin to look at me "Although, you did stab me while I was already down." I teased "But I forgive you."

I couldn't help but laugh a little. "I am sorry about that. But at least you don't hate me for it." I sighed and laid my head on his chest. "Are you gonna be okay?"

"I think so, with time." I sighed and pulled her close against me "I lost it, and that isn't like me."

"Everyone has a breaking point baby. Even you," I whispered and kissed his chest. I looked up and stared into his eyes. "I love you."

"I love you too, I hope you believe that." I said and brought her lips up to mine, kissing her softly.

"I don't know why you do... but I'm glad that you do. I don't know what I would do without you."

"Are you joking? After the ass I've been I'm surprised you even speak to me."

I smiled a little. "How could I not? Besides the fact that I love you," I said and kissed him. "You saved my life. You risked yours to hide me in your barn, then went into my father's house and... you saved my life. I wouldn't have made it much longer there. I... I heard them talking... my dad and... Well let's just say they had plans for me," I whispered and looked down.
