I heard Victoria all the way from her study, I hadn't told Quin who she was technically. She was ruined, I could hear it in her sobs because I had done the same thing when Jo had died "Sebastien will you go to her?"

I nodded and went to find her, helping her up from the floor and letting her lean on me as I helped her to her room.

We passed by a mirror and I groaned, seeing my reflection "Good God, I'm redder than my hair."

I rubbed her back and got her to her room, then took a small notebook and pen out of my pocket. No need to worry about your appearance right now. You've been through a lot, I wrote and showed it to her.

"So have you."

"Were you from the same District as Asher?" I asked.

I nodded and wrote, He and his family has always taken care of me and my sister, especially after my mom died. We're family, he's like a brother to me.

"He's a wonderful person, a little rough around the edges at times. But he's always cared about other people."

"That's very true, you know him well." I did manage a smile, it was nice having them here but I wished the circumstances were different "Help yourself to anything in my home, okay?"

"I'll be fine, don't worry about me. I hate it that you had to see me like this."

Don't worry about it. Way I grew up, seeing a few tears is nothing, I wrote on the pad then smiled at her. I'll leave you be. Hope you feel better.

"Thank you, Sebastien. Good night."

Night. I got up and waved to her when I got to the door then went back to where Asher and Q were. Asher was just sitting there, and Q had fallen fast asleep. You gonna eat? I signed to him, nodding to the massive amounts of food sitting on a table in the next room.

"Yeah, I guess I should. Let's go." I told him and we left Q to rest "Did she settle down?"

I nodded. Yeah, she's in her bed. She'll be alright. Just a lot happening lately I guess.

"Can't argue on that one." I said and we started fixing ourselves a plate.

I'm still not used to all this food, I signed after we sat down. Even out there it's more than I ever had growing up.

"Me either, it's a lot to get used to." I said, taking a bite "Only time we ever had enough to go around was when one of those bastards would put one of my horses down." I shook my head "While I was out looking around for those two weeks I seen a lot of deer and stuff. We'll have to start hunting when we get back."

I nodded. Ezra's been teaching me how to use a bow and arrow. Guns attract too much attention and we can't afford to waste ammo.

"Very true, we'll all need a bow of some type and we'll be learning from the best too."

"Really? That's...odd. Guess I'll be visiting her when I get home."
