I smiled at Cole as he came back in. "That was... extremely unexpected."

"But in a good way, right?"

I nodded. "Yeah. In a good way. He... he forgave me... for what happened. And he came to tell me my father is dead."

"I'm glad he's forgiven you, Linna. How do you feel? About your Dad I mean."
-Cole

"Good riddance. He never did anything for me but... fuck up my life... and my head. What he put me and Timber through... He can rot in hell for all I care. I'm glad he's gone."

"Sounds good to me." I told her "Wanna finish up your cooking lesson and then hit the hay?"

I smiled. "Yeah. That sounds great."

"Alright, come back over here." I smiled as she came over to the stove and I started showing her everything as I cooked. We had a nice supper, she fell asleep quickly. I went outside and set on my steps, looking out into the night sky.
