Quin & Aurora

"No, absolutely not." I grinned.

"I can't even control my own anger. I couldn't even begin to tell other people how to," I said and chuckled a bit.

"I'm getting better with time. I hear I get it from Dad."

"Yeah he always was good at keeping his cool."

"Yeah, most of the time he's good. Where do you get yours from? Has your mom ever said?"

Quin- "My temper? Definitely my dad," I said and chuckled a bit. "He was always a hot head, just never with us. He was a big softy at home," I said, getting sad thinking about him.

"Yeah, I remember. My Mom could be like that too, I remember her having a few fits on my dad."

Quin- I nodded and was about to say something when heard a yell. "You hear that?"

I nodded "It came from the direction of the river." I said and started heading that way "We gotta stop coming to the woods. Everytime we do we hear screaming."

Quin- "Yeah it's getting to be an unwelcome trend," I said as we took off that way. We were getting closer when someone came running through the trees and almost ran straight into me. I grabbed onto them before they fell, then realized it who it was. I froze for a minute then found my voice. "What's wrong, are you hurt? We heard a yell."

I caught my breath and looked up to him. I blinked twice, surprised to see him "I'm fine. It's Bella, she's in labor. We were going fishing with Raine and my brothers. I have to get Pepper." -Aurora

Quin- "Shit. You shouldn't be running. I'll go get her. Asher go back with her, you and Bella are close, you can help keep her calm."

"Gotcha. Let's go Brown Eyes. I'll see you soon." I told Quin as Brown Eyes and I headed back to the river.

Aurora was helping out Pepper in the Infirmary so I decided to go out to the river to see if I could catch some fish. I cast my line out before burying the end of my pole in the dirt, then leaned back against the tree and closed my eyes.

We were watching him through the trees and approached silently. I walked up behind him and he must have opened his eyes and spotted the shadows, he turned his head seeing us and I landed a punch to his jaw.

I fell back on the ground and tried to get up, only to get another punch to my head, right in the temple. My vision split, making me see stars, and I looked around again, trying to make out who the fuck it was. I didn't recognize the guy but I didn't get much chance to look before I was surrounded by about six or seven people.

I hit him again, busting his nose before we reached down and pulled him up to his feet and we kept a tight hold on him.

I fought against them, managing to nail one or two of them in the nose before I was kicked hard in the stomach. I doubled over, barely managing to keep myself up. "What is this, an induction to hell? Newsflash, I've already been there. Let me the fuck go you assholes," I spat at them.



"You think you've been to hell, you ain't seen nothing yet," I said and pulled the burlap sack over his head so he couldn't see, then nailed him a good punch right between the eyes, knocking him out. "Let's go."

We followed Diego, dragging Quin through the woods.

I got to the stream and Quin wasn't there, I walked around but didn't spot or hear him anywhere. I looked down and his fishing pole was still here, stuck in the ground pretty firmly. It was strange so I started looking around closer than before, I spotted footprints and blood. There were a lot of different footprints...probably six to eight people. Quin had been jumped. The realization made my blood boil so much I was lucky it was oozing from my pores. They just fucked up, they'd realize it soon enough.

They got me back to the house and laid me on the couch. "Thanks for bringing me home guys," I said as I slowly laid back.

"No problem, I'm going to go get your Mom and take her home. She'll probably want to stop by tonight or in the morning."

"Okay. Whenever's fine. Can you tell Raine I'm home too?"

"No problem, I'll make sure they all know. Do you need anything else before we go?"

"No I'm alright. Thanks."



"Get some rest buddy. You'll be back on your feet before you know it."
