Quin & Aurora

"You're having a migraine, that's why you got sick earlier. I'm not sure why you were sleep walking...I wish I did. Did anyone hurt you? I'll go hunt them down right now. I've done it once, I'll do it again."

I smiled a little despite how much like shit I felt. "I know you would. I... I don't... know. The last thing I remember is going to sleep with you last night."

I ready knew there wasn't anything Pepper could do regarding this type of thing "We'll figure it out. I promise."

I nodded a little and groaned when that made my head hurt more. I rolled over on my side and held her hand a little tighter. "I hope so," I said quietly.

"We will. Try to sleep if you can." I said.


Seeing Quin like that made my blood boiled. If she hadn't of already killed the little shit who had done that to him I'd hunt him down. The water warmed up pretty good and I dipped a cloth inside and rung the water out, giving it to her and she placed it on his forehead.

I groaned as the heat immediately made my head feel a little better. And as long as I kept my eyes closed I wasn't dizzy and the nausea wasn't as bad. That was probably because I'd already thrown up too.

"You should probably change out of that shirt, I'll stay here while you do that."


"Alright, thanks." I said and went into the bedroom.

"Who are you? You said... family friend, but... why haven't I ever heard of you?" I mumbled.

"Because I had to leave when you were little."

"Oh. How come?"

"Capitol shit, I'm sure you know how that goes."

"Mmhm. Yeah I do. Fucking psychos," I mumbled, wishing my head would stop pounding just a little more.

"Amen to that." I said as Aurora came from the room "I know your Mom too, you look a lot like her."


"Thanks."

She changed the washcloth and I groaned at the heat on my forehead. "Thanks Angel," I whispered. God why did I always have to be so fucking helpless.

"If you're good here now, I'll go. Do you want me to let your Mom know?" I asked Quin.

"No. She'll just worry about me more than she already does. Don't want her to worry so much."

"Alright, no problem. I understand that."

"Thanks for the help."

"You're welcome. I'll see you guys around." I said and left their cabin.

"Can you help me to bed?" I asked when he'd left, hating that I had to ask her for help. "I want to lay with you. If that's okay?"

"Do you even have to ask that?" I teased while I put my arms around him and helped him up.

I tried not to lean on her too much as she helped me to bed and laid down with me. "Damn I wish I knew what was going on. I... I've never blacked out like that. Well... except when Jasper and Cade were going at me. I blacked out a few times then. It was kind of hard not to though."

I didn't even want to think about him going through that "I'm so happy Asher and Sebastien found you when they did. We'll figure out what's going on."

"I hope so. Yeah I am too. I was trying to hang on but... he'd stabbed me right in the side. If they hadn't come along when they did... I wouldn't have made it much longer."

"I should have followed you...I should have done something...anything."
