"Holy shit, he fucking took them?" I sighed and shook my head. "We found Brooke McCall at that campsite. The girl who was missing." I said and told him about what had happened to her.

I shook my head. "He's going to be even more unpredictable when he hears she's alive." I sighed. "I've questioned Kent myself, sent out search parties, searched every house. We can't find them Micah. I don't even know if they're still alive." 

"How is John doing through all of this?"

I shook my head. "Not good. He quit cold turkey, and he's been going damn near insane over Marlena and Sia. I've already had to stop him more than once from going after Kent himself."

"Well, this is just lovely. We have to get to the bottom of this and soon. Brooke wasn't necessarily alone when we found her. Her and Carter have a daughter."

I stared at him. "Are you kidding me? Oh this is just fucking great. Where's her daughter now? When are the kids getting returned to their parents?" 

"As soon as their medical checks are finished so probably tomorrow."

"All of them? Or just the girls?" 

"Just the girls. He's keeping the boys."

I shook my head. "Just one more tally to make him even more disgusting. Those kids aren't going to know what the hell is going on. How are they going to handle being ripped away from their parents. They're not all newborns." 

"I don't know. Some of them have already lost their parents and Asher Jacobs was raising them with the help of Timber Lehman."

"And ripping them away from those two is going to make them even worse. Those kids have already lost so much. Why do they have to lose the only people that love and care about them. It's not right." 

"The citizens don't even know about any of this yet, can you imagine when they do find out?"

"Honestly, I don't want to." 

"Neither do I. This is going to be awful."

"That's putting it lightly." 

"Has anything else happened while we were gone?"

I shook my head. "Not that I can think of at the moment." 

I nodded "Alright. Well, we should get some rest and pick up on all of this tomorrow. First thing in the morning....we'll pay a visit to Kent."

"Good. Maybe you can get more out of him than I can." 

"I hope so. If need be I'll get physical with him."

"I've been tempted, believe me." 

"Oh, I believe you." I said and checked the time. "It's getting late now, we should get some rest. Or rty to."

"I can try, but I doubt I'll get much sleep at all. Good night Micah," I said and put my glass down, heading for the door. 

I got up and followed him out and then we went our separate ways. I was in a desperate need of a shower and sleep.
