I bucked my hips against him as my body exploded around him, sending my head swimming it felt so good.


"Alright, I'll stay here with her then."

I groaned as her release brought mine and kissed her hard and deep as we stilled. I leaned my forehead against hers, both of us breathing hard. "Damn I missed you," I said quietly.



"Alright. Thank you. I shouldn't be long."

I smiled "I missed you too." I whispered, still panting.


"You're welcome. We'll be fine for a little while so just do whatever you need to."

"I don't want to move... but this can't be comfortable for you," I said and laughed a bit.



I nodded. "Alright. I really shouldn't be long though. We're not far from the Mess Hall. You need anything besides food?"

I laughed with him "Actually, it's been quite comfortable." I said "It's good to hear you laugh again." I whispered.

I shook my head "No, that's okay."

I smiled. "It's good to laugh again," I whispered. "I didn't even realize I'd done it."



I nodded. "Alright. I'll be back then. You want to come with Caleb?"

"I've missed it so much."


"Sure. I'll see you around Brooke." I told her bye and left with Carter.

"Me too. More than anything though, I've missed everything about you. I feel like I've been... really distant from you. I'm so sorry for that."



"She's so quiet. She didn't used to be like that," I said as we walked to the Mess Hall.

"It's okay....we've had a lot to work through. I'm just happy we have."


"I know, she used to be nothing like that. Maybe she'll come around soon."

"Me too. I'm so happy to have you back. You have no idea how much I've missed you. Just being with you... holding you... you're everything to me."



"Yeah maybe. She's been through a lot though."

I smiled at him "I love you Cameron."

"Yeah, she has. to be honest I feel like shit that none of us thought to look more into it. How could we though? We didn't know then what we do now."

"I love you too baby, more than anything," I said and kissed her.



"Exactly. I... I still can't believe it. My own dad...." I shook my head.

"Let's get back before they come looking for us, I imagine my brother would blush if he seen me like this." I laughed.


"I'm sorry, Carter." I said as we arrived at the Mess Hall.

I chuckled. "Not to mention how red in the face you would be," I said and teased her breasts before rolling off of her. "Damn I don't want to leave though. It's so peaceful out here, just me and you."



"Sorry doesn't change anything." I sighed. "I'm sorry."

"I don't want to live separated again, Cameron."


"It's alright, don't worry about it."

I rolled over and looked at her. "I don't either. I don't ever want to be away from you again. I'm sorry I left like I did. I'm sorry for everything."



"Come on. Let's get what we need so we can get back."

"So am I, I haven't been the easiest to get along with either."


I helped Carter gather up everything we needed and we started to head back.

"You've had reason though baby, I understand."

We got back and put everything away then I went to check on Daphne.

Carter

"I understand too."


Carter came in while I was pacing the room, gently bouncing Daphne in my arms. I turned to look at him "She just fell asleep." I whispered.

"You shouldn't. You're too good for me though."



"Oh okay," I said quietly, not wanting to wake her. "Did you want me to take her, or do you got her?"

"Oh, please. Don't even start that." I teased and nudged him.


"I've got her...unless you do want to take her."

"You know it's true baby," I said and nudged her back before putting my arm around her and pulling her close to me.



"I can take her," I said and held my arms out to her.

"I always felt like you were too good for me, actually."


I walked over to him and placed Daphne in his arms "She's out like a light, huh?"
