"Probably doesn't help that I don't really want you to be respectful either," I teased.

I chuckled "'You're one of a kind Winter Dawn."

"It's a gift," I said with a smirk.

"That it is." I told her "You should come to my cabin sometime...have dinner with me."

I smiled. "I would love to. Just tell me when and I'll be there."

"Wanna come tonight?"

"That sounds perfect."

"Sweet, I'll meet you here and then walk you the rest of the way. Sound good?"

"That sounds great," I said and kissed him softly before we swam to the bank.

Winter

I helped her out of the water and we let the sun dry us for a little while "I'll meet you right here, okay? Don't stand me up, this is my first date." I teased.

I smiled. "Well now we have something in common, it's my first date too. Don't stand me up either."

"Never in my life, you have my word."

I smiled. "I don't usually find it easy to trust people. But I trust you."

"I'm really glad, that means a lot. I'm harmless, if I weren't you'd know it by now."

"Oh yeah? How would I know?"

"Just trust me. I'll see you tonight." I winked at her as we got dressed again "Be safe."

"You too," I said and we headed our separate ways.

Darnell and I were walking through the forest together when we ran into Jack and Jason "We need to talk, I'm sure you already know."

"Yeah we do. We were actually headed this way to talk to Carlisle."

Jack

"I don't know if that's such a good idea, that's why we wanted to seek you out first."
-Cruz

"Why? What's going on?"

Jack

"Carlisle is out for blood now even though the whole thing was Diego's doing."

I nodded slowly. "I see. That's gonna a problem. At least you can admit it was his doing. I'm sorry for what happened but... he had to have realized that's what the outcome was going to be.'

"I'm not sure what the hell he was thinking but it would be wise to keep a close eye on everyone. We'll do our best to keep everything in check at our camp...he did mention no more visitors from yours." I sighed.

I nodded slowly. "That's going to be a problem too. Some of our people have family members in your camp."
