"I know. I'm not sure what we should do."

"I'm not either." I sighed. "Maybe we should just... I don't know, restrict visits. No one crosses unless they have someone with them, and not unless they need to go. Like to see family or something."

"Something like a battle buddy system, right?"

"Yeah, something like that. Just to make sure they're safe. No one should be in these woods alone, not with what's happened. We don't know what kind of retaliation might take place. I don't want that to happen."

"Neither do we, I promise you. We'll talk to everyone and let them know."

I nodded. "As will we. We'll figure all of this out somehow."

"We'll keep a close eye out, if we suspect anything is about to happen we'll do our best to stop it or warn you."

"Same here. I think if we work together, and I mean all of us, we can keep something like this from happening again. At least I hope so."

"So do we. Take care Jack."

"You too. We have to get back to camp now. Keep in touch though."

"Same to you, be safe." I told him as we parted.

I left the house to find someone and saw Ethan coming out of the woods. Right behind him Alicia stepped out and I stopped when I saw them lean in close together, smiling as they spoke to each other, so close they could've kissed.

I bent down and kissed Alicia and then we walked out of the darkness some when I seen Timber "Oh...hey."

"Hey... Um... Asher sent me to find someone in the family. Elena's in labor."

"Oh, hell" I looked down at Alicia "You two can go to Elena, I'll go get my Dad."

"We'll see you there then," I said as he left and we headed to Elena's.

I came to standing in the middle of the woods. What... the fuck...? How had I gotten out here? The last thing I remembered was going to bed with Aurora... I was so confused, couldn't think. I turned around in circles, not even sure what part of the woods I was in, I wasn't sure how which direction to go in to get home. I couldn't go the wrong way, what if I ended up in the other camp...? I started to feel fear course through me and did my best to swallow it, that wasn't gonna help anything right now. My head was pounding, making it even harder to think. I turned around again. Fuck... Fuck...

I was coming through the woods from a hunt when I walked up on Quin. He hadn't noticed me yet but it seemed like he was almost in a panic...disoriented. It had been a few weeks and Selma hadn't told him yet. We had decided to give him time to heal and get better first without adding more to his plate. I stepped out of the woods to approach him but I used caution. He was an ass kicker and I didn't want that right now "Hey. You alright?"

I whipped around and tried to focus on the guy, my migraine making it harder to see out of only one eye. "Who the fuck are you?" I asked, trying to stay calm. I couldn't understand... why was I out here? Had someone taken me again? If so, why had I been alone? I didn't understand....

I'm your Dad. Damn, I wish I could have said that out loud. "I'm a friend of your Mother's, my name is Parker. You might know some of my relatives, Brady and Brayden." I said as I eased closer "How about you let me take you home?"

"I... I don't... I don't know where home is. How do you know my name?" I asked and backed into a tree, pressing my hands against my forehead as it pounded harder. I was starting to get dizzy and nauseous it hurt so bad.

"I'm a family friend. I'm harmless, I swear. Let me help you."

I was helpless, and I knew it was obvious. If he wanted to hurt me, he would've done it by now. I nodded, which only made my head swim more, and felt my body weave a little. I felt his arm around me, holding me up, and forced my feet to move as he led me through the woods.

Things finally calmed down for the most part and everything was ready for the wedding. I was standing a little back in the trees while everyone slowly trickled in. Mom came up to me and kissed my cheek. I hugged her back hard then saw Raine behind her. I couldn't help but smile. I was afraid she might not have come. I went up to her and hugged her gently. "You look beautiful. Thank you... for coming."

"I wouldn't miss your wedding Quin," I said quietly, then went to go stand by mom.

Raine

"Damn I'm nervous as hell. Is this actually going to happen this time?" I asked when Asher came up to me.

Quin

"As long as she didn't hear you talking about Irene." I teased him "Hey, just relax. It's going to be fine."
