Forest

The other come over and started hitting me too, and I couldn't fight two of them off. He was choking me so hard, shit was fading pretty fast.

I smirked as he passed out in my arms and patted his cheek. "That's right, sleep tight," I said and stood up, throwing him over my shoulder. "We can drag him," I said, grabbing ahold of one of Jack's legs while Dec took ahold of the other. 

"Alright." I told him as we drug them back to where the others were being held.

I went through the forest and I finally made it to our fish camp and everything was oddly quiet. I started looking around and Chase was nowhere to be found. Maybe he went into town and we missed each other. I went over to check the storage on the fish wheel and it was getting pretty full. Chase would have emptied this before leaving it alone or at least he should have. Might as well go ahead and get started with the work, he'd be back shortly and I'd go back to check on Raine.

After the awful morning I'd had, I was totally focused on hunting for the day. I was listening for sounds, and looking for tracks. But, something seemed off and I couldn't put my finger on it. I'd been hunting these woods for years now and I'd never had this feeling before. Almost like something or someone was watching me. No matter, I was ready for anything.

We were watching her through the trees. I had seen her before and knew she could be lethal. We'd have to take care with this one, but I wanted her... We stepped out of the trees, one on either side of her, keeping our weapons hidden. "Nice day. Kind of early to be out hunting isn't it?" 

Two of them in front of me. But there were atleast four more camouflaged in the woods. "It's never too early for hunting."

"It's dangerous in the woods these days. Though I'm sure you know that," I said as we circled closer to her. 

I already had my Bow in my hand and an arrow in place, I also had two knives strapped to my sides. "Shouldn't you little boys run along now and let me get back to what I was doing? I'd hate to have a hunting accident. You wouldn't want to step in the way of my arrow, would you?"

"You wouldn't want to step in the way of ours would you? Or the guns trained on you? Or the knife in my pocket? Just be a good girl and cooperate, I'd hate to fuck up that pretty face of yours."

"Motherfucker, I'm not cooperating with anyone." If a fight is what they came looking for, that's what they'd get. I pivoted quickly and let my arrow fly and within a second I heard the grunt and something heavy smacking the ground. Like Jon said, I never miss. But, I was expecting gun shots and listened for the guns to click but nothing. "One down. Are you sure about this?" If they caught me they could bet their sweet asses a few of them were going with me. That's when I heard it though and before he could get the shot off I pulled another arrow from my pack and let it soar trough the woods, hitting my mark. "You picked the wrong girl."

"And you picked the wrong day to murder someone," I said and went towards her. The arrow she let fly nicked my neck as I dodged it, but I'd hard worse. I grabbed her and pinned her arms up above her against a tree and held my knife to her neck. "And about whether or not I'm sure about this... oh you can bet your sweet ass I am," I said, grinning at her. 

"Then you should be ready to work for it." I brought my knee up and hit him in the groin with all the strength I could muster and he let my arms go. The knife grazed my neck as I ducked and moved around him. He was on the ground but shots started to ring out and I took off on foot, I'd lost my bow but I still had my knives. When they couldn't hit me they started to come at me and I was going hand to hand. No one was ever taking me again. Not without a fight. Never. Before I came to my senses it was over. Blood everywhere...three bodies laying around me. I was about to take off running for camp when I felt a searing pain go through my leg and I fell to my knees with a scream.

I grabbed her arm and yanked her to me, covering her mouth hard. "Shut your mouth before I cut your tongue out bitch." I pulled my knife out of her leg and hit her over the head with it, knocking her out cold, then ripped off a part of her shirt to tie around her leg. Couldn't leave a trail of blood, they'd be sure to find her then. I got to my feet and tossed her over my shoulder then hurried as fast as I could back to camp.
