Caleb & Ezra

I got to Caleb's and knocked.

I got up from breakfast and answered the door "Hey, what's up?" I asked, noticing the worried look on his face.

"Hey. I was wondering if you could come over and try talking to Carter? He won't eat. Or come out of his room. I'm really worried about him."

"Yeah, let me grab a shirt real quick." I told him and hurried to my bedroom, Ezra was still laying in bed but she was awake "Wake up sleeping beauty, did you have a rough night?"

"Oh yeah. Someone kept me up until damn near sunrise," I said with a smirk and stretched. "Who's here?"

"Cameron, Carter isn't doing well. You wanna come with me?" I asked her as I picked up my shirt and slipped it over my head.

"Sure. I just need to get dressed," I said and got up.

We both got ready to leave and then left with Cameron.

I got up and wiped my face glaring back at her "Good luck finding anyone else to deal with you. You'll need it." with that I left the cabin and didn't really give a shit where I ended up.

I threw something at him, not even sure what it was, but it missed and hit the wall. I watched him leave then went outside and grabbed the door, dragging it inside and struggling with it until I got it leaned up against the now hole in the wall. I was so angry and I didn't know what to do. I just started grabbing things, anything I could reach, and throwing them, hearing random things break. I made my way through the bedroom, then to the kitchen, and only when I felt a sting in my hand did I realize I'd grabbed a knife. Blood was seeping from a cut in my palm and it just made me angrier. I threw the knife at the window, shattering it, and grabbed a cloth to wrap around my hand. I couldn't bear sleeping in the bed tonight so I curled up on the couch, covering myself with a blanket, and listened to the silence until I eventually passed out. 

Alicia and I had left the party and I was taking her back home when we passed Caleb and Ezra's house. I noticed the door was adjusted oddly and decided to check it out. "Wait here, okay?" I asked her and she nodded. I walked up to the door and it was just setting there, the hinges had been ripped apart. "Ezra?"

I stirred out of my half-sleep and got slowly off the couch, bringing the blanket with me. I went up to the door but didn't bother trying to move it. "Yeah?" I said and winced at how my voice came out. I sounded like shit. Probably looked like shit too.

"It's Ethan, are you alright?"

"Define alright." 

"That sounds like a no. Can I come in?"

"Yes. Just... watch your step," I said and went to sit back on the couch, pulling my knees up to my chest and laying my head on them.

"Alicia's with me, do you mind?" I asked.

"No. I don't care about... anything right now." 

I motioned for Alicia to come with me and she did. I moved the door out of the way "What the hell happened here? Where's Caleb?"

"He's gone. He's not coming back. Not here anyway. He... he left me," I said, feeling completely numb.

"Why? You were fine when you guys left earlier. Tell me what's going on."

"He knows about the... the baby," I said softly. "He thinks... I should be over it now, I guess. Thinks I should've... snapped out of it or whatever. He doesn't like that... I'm not happy. He's mad that... I don't want anything to do with Jon. We got into a... huge argument. He called me some names. I punched him. He packed his shit and told me... good luck finding someone that can... put up with me. And he left."
