"Are you fucking stupid? Because apparently you can't comprehend anything. I just said I wasn't afraid of you. Your threats don't do shit to me."

"It wasn't a threat. And you're the stupid one." I walked over to him and knelt down, putting the blade of my knife right beneath his eye. "Shut up. Or I might just be tempted to cut your tongue out so you can't speak anymore. Or better yet, I'll just go fuck your friend again. I rather enjoyed myself the first time." 

For Lea, I wouldn't say anything. But if the bastard decided to again there wasn't much Brett and I could do and he knew that. So did Lea...she wasn't stupid.

I smirked. "Good doggy," I said and patted him hard on the cheek. "We'll be back later. Dec here needs a playmate too." I turned my head and winked at her then left with Declan, covering the entrance up again. 

"Jack! Chase! Holy shit, please wake up."

I groaned as I started to stir, my head pounding. "What... the fuck..." I mumbled, trying to open my eyes, but even a minuscule movement made my body throb.

"It's Brett, just lay still alright?"

"What's... going on... Where..." I mumbled then groaned again.

"I don't know where we are. Somewhere underground."

"Why? Who are those men? What the fuck do they want?" I asked, trying and failing to sit up.

"They're after Quin and Aurora."

"For what? Tell me this isn't over that... Diego shit," I said, swallowing back a cough.

"I'm afraid so. It seems like they're pretty good at holding grudges."

"Stupid... fucking bastards," I mumbled. I sat up, only then realizing that we were in chains. "Really? Isn't this a bit overkill?"

"They've been spying on us for awhile now and know our strong points. They're being cautious."

"Probably smart on their part. Doesn't matter, we'll figure a way out. Have they hurt you guys?" 

"They stabbed Caleb and I in the shoulder...it didn't exactly tickle." I told him and I didn't know what to say about Lea...she said she didn't want others to know.

"Fuck. Are you two gonna be alright?" 

"Yeah, we'll be fine." I hope.

"Wish I could look at it. I... fuck I'm sorry. I had no idea you guys were missing. What happened?" 

I left the wedding and Lea came after me, they jumped us in the woods. Said we crossed over their line or some fucking shit, I don't know. It was an accident though if we did."


"Carlisle and some other bitches jumped me too and I know I wasn't even close to their camp. I killed one of them before they managed to get me here though."

I shook my head then winced when that made it throb again. "I don't understand it, what the fuck are they thinking. They're not gonna get away with this, and it's just going to start bullshit up between the camps all over again." 

"There won't be anything left here when they find out we're all gone. They'll destroy this camp but you can't make the idiots understand that."

"Apparently not." I looked over at Chase and sighed. "Quin's gonna fucking flip. And we all know what goes down when that happens. Not to mention everyone else they're gonna piss off."

"I've known Asher for a long time now and I've seen him action plenty. They don't want him here while he's on the war path but it's unavoidable now."
