Travis & Ezra

"Do you plan on killing me?"

"Not at the moment," I teased and smiled a little at him.

"Excellent. So, I can trust that you'll behave and only use it when necessary?" I asked and then shrugged a little "Don't look so shocked, I don't always follow the rules."

I smiled. "What a coincidence. Neither do I. But yeah, you can trust me. I won't shoot anyone unless I have to." 

I smiled "Yeah, I kinda figured you didn't." 

"Oh yeah? Whatever gave that away?" I asked with a smirk.

"Your brothers. You can't have them around and not be getting into something."

"That's true," I said then sobered. "They're not around though. I promise i'll be good okay?" I said and managed a small smile.

"I know you will be. I'm sorry I brought them up, I didn't mean to upset you."

"It's okay. I need to get used to the fact that... I'm not gonna see them again."

Ezra

"You may able to though, but I'm not sure yet."

"What do you mean? How would you pull that off?" I asked as sirens blared in the distance. "What the hell?" 

Ezra

I stood up and sighed "Prison alarms. Fuck." I muttered and went to get my shit ready just as my phone went off and I answered. "I'm on my way." I hung up "Something is going on, I'll be back soon."

"What do you mean, something's going on? Like what?" 

Ezra

"Possibly a riot or something, I won't know until I get there."

"Damn. Well be careful. I'll keep the doors locked till you get home." 

Ezra

I searched the houses until I found the one I was pretty sure Ezra was staying in. I didn't exactly see her and even though it was risky I decided just to knock on the door. Fuck it, it would probably be someone I knew anyway.

I was in the kitchen when I heard the knock on the door. I crept quietly to the door, not knowing who it was, and looked through the peephole. My heart almost stopped and I practically ripped the lock open and flung the door open. "Oh my god what are you doing here?" I said and hugged him hard. "Get in here before someone sees you." 

She practically pulled me inside and then shut the door behind me. "Happy to see me?" 



"Yes, you have no idea. How did you get here? What happpened at the prison?" 

"It was a prison riot that we didn't even start. I pinky promise. So, how is married life treating you?" 



"You may not have started it, but you sure as hell look like you were involved in it." I sighed and went to the living room, slowly sitting down. "I don't know where to start." 

"Start by telling me if he's an asshole or not. I'd really love to know because if he is that can be taken care of."

I couldn't help but smile a little. "No. He's not an asshole. Far from it. He... he got Amos Jaxon thrown in prison for me. He wanted to kill him, but..." I let out a little laugh. "I told him I didn't want him to get the carpet dirty." 

I smiled and nodded "Alright. He sounds acceptable."

I smiled a little. "I'm glad you think so." I sobered and sighed a little. "I... I want to tell you something, but... you can't tell anyone. You have to promise me Asher." 

"Oh, god. I hate it when conversations start out like this but go ahead. Spill. I won't tell anyone."
