"I'll take the leftovers from breakfast."

"Are you sure?" It's almost lunch time."

"I'm sure. There's no point in letting it all go to waste."

"Do you mind if I eat with you?" 

"No, I don't mind at all."

"Why don't you sit down, I'll make us plates." 

"Alright, thank you." I smiled.

She had a beautiful smile. "You're welcome," I said and smiled back at her. I made us both plates and got us something to drink then sat down beside her.

"So, my dearest husband. Tell me something about you." I said playfully.

I smiled and couldn't help but chuckle a little. "Yeah I suppose it would be good for you to know things about me too. What would you like to know?" 

"Anything you'd like to tell me about."

"There isn't much to tell about me really. I've been with Tywin for as long as I can remember. I don't have any family left. My fellow soldiers are my brothers. most of us grew up together from infants." 

"Really? So my friends...they're with good guys?"

"Yeah, they're all good guys. I mean, some of them are a little rough around the edges, we've all been single all of our lives. But I can't imagine any of them ever letting harm come to a woman. Especially one they're attached too. You don't have to worry about any of them." 

"That's a relief but I do worry about some of your friends." I said, smirking a little.

I chuckled a bit. "How come?" 

"I imagine it may take some of the girls time to adjust."

"Oh I'm sure it will.  I hope everyone adjusts well though. I know none of this can be easy on any of them."

"Especially those of us who were already with someone."

I nodded. "Right." The question hung between us for a few minutes and I finally asked it, though I already knew the answer. "Were you... with someone?" 

"Yes. We've had some...issues but we were living together."

I nodded. "What's he like?" I asked, wishing I knew what to say. I couldn't exactly blurt out that I'd been hoping she'd say no though.

"You know...I'm not really sure. In the winter he took off for awhile and I didn't see him again until recently and by that time so much was going on...we didn't have to time to get to know each other on a more...personal level." The sexual level was a different story but he didn't need the details.

That shouldn't have made me as happy as it did. "That's too bad. I think that's important in a relationship, really getting to know each other. Not that I really have any experience to back that up. How come he took off?"

"He went on a hunting trip and was delayed. I think he needed time to think or something...we may have dived in too fast at first."
