"Yeah, it should. That doctor better not fuck him up..."

You trust Victoria right? He nodded. I'm sure it'll be fine then. We sat in silence, both of us worried sick. It was hours and hours later when the doctor finally came out and told us he'd done all he could. We got up nervously and went slowly in the room. He was covered in bandages, his knees and arm in casts. He was still hooked up to the breathing machine and the IVs of medicine and blood.

"Oh, man." I muttered and went slowly over to the side of the bed. I had to go slow anyway unless I wanted to tear myself back open.


I had cleaned myself up while the doctor was working on Quin. After my shower I had made an anonymous phone call about Jasper's body so they would be finding him soon and by tomorrow everyone would know. I went back to Quin's room and walked in to where the boys were.

"You gonna sit down or stare at me all night?" I muttered, not opening my eyes.

When he spoke I felt like I had been holding my breath and was finally relieved "I'm going to gaze at your ass as long as I want."

I managed a slight smirk. "Perv," I muttered. "Sorry I took so long. Got a little delayed."

"Yeah, I noticed asshole. It's taken care of though...what you came to do. They're gone."

"Good," I muttered. "I tried. Got them good before... they got me... tied me up. Tried to get me to tell them where the others were. I didn't though. I could never do that," I muttered.

"Hell, that was the last thing we were all worried about. I just wanted to find you."

"Glad you did. They were... trying to off me. Put up a good fight though. Got me good didn't they."

"You're tough and hard to break no doubt. Damn, Q if you ever scare me like this again I'll kick your ass."

"Didn't get my ass kicked enough?" I teased. I opened my eyes just barely and looked at him. "I got Jamal. Got him real good," I muttered. "Jasper and Cade... they're gone? What bout Marco?"

"V told us about Jamal. Yeah, those two are gone and I'm not sure Marco."

"Need to make sure he's gone. Fore we go home. He got Rora's mom."

"Before we left I kicked his ass and blew his house sky high but we'll double chuck. He um...hurt Timber so I knew he doesn't have jewels left at least."

"Didn't know bout that," I muttered. "She alright? How's everyone at home?"

"Good, they're doing pretty well. Trying to move on and what not." I said, hoping he didn't ask for specifics on Brown Eyes because he'd have to be honest with him.

"How's Aurora? She mad at me for leaving like that?" I muttered.

"She's isn't happy, she's really worried. When you left that night I did too but I just went off for some time alone. When I showed up and you weren't with me she took it a little hard. Didn't want you to be alone."

I sighed a little. "Wish there was some way to talk to her," I muttered. "God I miss her. I... I had to come here though. I promised Raine. I promised her... I wouldn't let them get away with what they did."

"I know, don't worry I'm always upsetting people too."

"Yeah. We always were alike like that. How long I gotta stay here? I wanna get home."

"Q, I hate it but you'll be here awhile. Doc had to go in and put you back together from head to toe almost."

I sighed. "Then go. Go home without me. I'll come when I can. They gotta know we're okay. I've been gone too long already."

"No way in hell am I leaving you here, Quin."
